I've never had a whole boatload of friends.
I've never considered myself good friend material. I'm extremely private and quiet. The few close friends I have now in real life are my friends mostly because they pursue the friendship. Not that I don't love and value them. I do. I just am not the chatty girlfriend type, I guess. But I'm learning from my time here to be a better friend. I've learned to listen better. And I'm learning to let people know how I feel. I'm not as afraid as I used to be. I've got you guys to thank for that.

Anastasia will bring new people into your life. The whole school thing will be a new and interesting stage in your life, if you're anything like I was. George and I both were very involved in our girls' school while they were there. We were friendly with other parents. It was a very special time that we'll always treasure.
