Grrr... 3 phone calls later, and in short, there's nothing that can be done about the stroller. It's nobody's fault, blah blah blah.

Guess it's duct tape for Anastasia :(

Man! Thats crazy! I wonder why they were even trying to open it?

I get why they were trying to open it - to be nice. They usually just hand you the stroller all folded up and it's up to you to wrangle it open with your carryon in one hand and your baby in another. So they opened all the strollers on our flight and had them lined up in the passageway ready to go... only they weren't gentle with mine. they must have thought it was an umbrella stroller (It's NOT) and kicked it to open it up. Snapped the inch thick plastic bar on the footrest in half.

Oh no that stinks Bunny! And they aren't going to even give you airfare credits or anything?

nope. it's one of those "you waive your rights by checking it" kinds of things. :brick:

This is my stroller:

the footrest now isn't attached to the frame. It's not the end of the world, but it's still annoying, and SHARP! I dont want her getting cut by the broken edge.

Oh ok, yeah. At least it still functions right, but I definitely see why you should duct tape it or something. Depending on how it broke, you may want to just take whatever remaining piece is left, if there is any, so there are no points or anything left to hurt the baby.

Can you use anything to file it down at least?

I'm going to see if Marc can do anything with it... which means never, since he has NO time these days. :brick:

I guess I'm going to see if I can jury rig it, but it's still irritating. Could have been worse, yes, but not what I want to be dealing with right now. reality stinks.
