Hello everyone - we had a very nice time at the marriage retreat last night/this morning. The kids were perfect angels for my SIL (of course), and it is nice to be home again. Hope everyone is having a good day! :wave:

Excellent speaker...just a refresher of what God's word says about marriage.

Asking for prayers for my nephew. He is talking to a speaker that was at thier church last night. This is the nephew that lost his brother in Nov. He hasn't been doing very good with the loss of his brother. This speaker had an expeiance (sp) very simular to Coreys and my nephew's.

Well, last night I went to see Fool's Gold. It was pretty good. Got a little lost during it, but otherwise, I really enjoyed it. Then we went to IHOP for dinner with my friends and brother.
Today, I won't get to see much of WHF. He had to go into work today and I have to work tonight. Then tomorrow, he's going to a friend's house to watch the Nascar race and I'm doing nothing. So, once again, I won't see much of him.
You guys have any other plans for the weekend?

Today is middle DD's BD. Baking a cake, and giving her a gift. Fixing the van. That is all. Nothing much here. Boring life. (I like it this way)

Fool's Gold has gotten so-so reviews, but I think it looks kind of funny - I'll probably wait for DVD. Yummy for IHOP though - I love that place. :slurp:
We have kind of a quiet weekend really. Although I did a bunch of cleaning yesterday, there's still plenty to do. And the kids are off Monday for Pres. Day. So I will probably clean some more and spend time with the kiddos. :shrug:
My kiddos go to school Monday. :shrug: They have testing this coming week.

I need to go spend time with my boy...I missed him. It's going to be so hard to leave them when I go to the conference this summer.

Yay! Happy birthday DD!
I actually liked it. I got a little lost during the explaining about the treasure part, but for the most part, I thought it was pretty good. Now, I do like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days better, but that's b/c that was more of a romantic comedy, this was more of a comedy/adventure movie.
I never go off reviews. I always just see the movies I want to see.
