Morning

I think my youngest DD is getting that cold stuff that is going around in her class. Is there anything that ya'll have found that works in getting rid of this stuff before it gets worse or comes in my household.?
I would Lysol everything. As for her, do they make something like Airbourne for kids?

Morning, btw

Morning, Dan. How's George doing this morning?
Finally Home. He got released yesterday and that was a maddening experience. We have waited for over a week for him to get approval for a stupid antibiotic. He calls me yesterday to come and pick him up. I had to drive 2 hours to go get him and there was complete white out during certain parts of the highway.
I get there and they now need to get another prescription because the dumb doctor didn't fill out the form correctly. I ran down stairs to the pharmacy to get his other meds, they told me it would take 15 mins to fill it because of some reason. I run over and get the car and park in front of the hospital while they are bringing him down. He calls my cell to tell me he is waiting in the pharmacy for the meds. 30 mins later he still is not out.
To say the least, it wasn't a happy day for me. We still had to go to the pharmacy here to get his prescription filled. I ended up getting fast food for dinner since I had to get him home and then run off to a meeting.

It is great having him home.

A lot of yesterdays problems was nothing major, but my emotions are so raw. I was yelling at "stupid" drivers. I just couldn't handle this anymore. I wonder how people that have someone worse off make it threw. He can take care of himself for 99% of the time, but what about the ones that need someone to step up and be there. It just got to me when no one would step forward to help, and all they wanted was to complain about everything else in their lives. I finally snapped. (Ok, I snapped a long time ago.):lookaroun

But he slapped me and put me back in my place. I got to learn my place.:lookaroun

Ok, my life isn't perfect, but it's my life.

I know its of little solace, but a lot of people go thru the same thing. You really find out who your friends are at a time like this.

We haven't done ours yet, trying to pay off some big bills beforehand. :lookaroun

They tell you to save for your kid's college education and then you get penalized for it. :brick:
The problem with us is that DD moved out on her own this year, so we have one less dependent, even though we were paying for college for her last year. And apparently even thoughwe had to take out a loan for DS for college, we're able to afford a lot more now.....
