Magic Friends Are For Lovers But Not THAT Kind Of Lover

That's awful! Imagine how those kids must feel!

Probably nothing different..and that is what's sad. She was pregnant her senior year and has always treated that little girl like a major inconvenience in her life. Her grandma does what she can (she raised her kids to know right from wrong, really she did), but she'd have to fight for custody to make that girl's life better. And she doesn't want to put her through that too. What a mess. :brick:

Hi Jen!
(And everyone else.)
That is unimaginable.

That was my first thought.:lookaroun I really do feel bad for the kids.

That's terrible and incredibly selfish!
The poor kids.

I know :( - she always has been spoiled, but the choices she has made are wreaking havoc with all of our hearts. I'd take that little girl in a moment if I had room...my sister said she would too, and she does have room. Unfortunately we can only have empathy for my SIL. She and my brother have always had their struggles.

Are they going to have a big wedding, or just a JP kind of thing?

Tons of fun. :dazzle:
I got a lot done, though.
How close are you to being done?

Nicole, I just wanted to mention one more thing about FAFSA. As soon as you get your PIN numbers, file your FAFSA even if you haven't got your taxes filed yet. A lot of colleges have a March 1st deadline for qualifying for financial aid, and it's all based on the FAFSA. You can approximate the numbers, then revise your form later, just be sure to file it by March 1st.

Will do!
Thanks again for the advise/tips/info.
I'm the first child, so all this college apps/scholarship stuff is new to me and my parents.

It's pretty dauting for sure. Print out everything you file and keep it for next year. I have a folder with DS' SSnuber, pin number, licence number, and copies of last year's files - it helped a lot with filing this year. You'll need your parents to help with it at least the first time out - they do ask a lot of stuff.

Well, I must go -have to put the youngest to bed. I told Abby I would wake her up tomorrow if they have school. At this point who knows? We're under 100% precip tonight and tomorrow, and could get up to 9" by tomorrow night. :dazzle: I also feel like making cake - need something warm and sweet. :slurp::slurp:

Oh and cake sounds good too. :lookaroun :D

DAY 2

Someone will need to be home to sign for it.
What kind of people are actually home during the day?
Madness, I say!
