Magic Friends Are For Lovers But Not THAT Kind Of Lover

Oh no. You won't believe what I did today for lunch. I made hamburger patties with crushed crackers and eggs mixed in. But I only put in half the Hamburger meat and then a pound of ground turkey. I am trying to cook more healthy without my girls knowing it.:o:D

That is so evil. What is this, a ground turkey conspiracy? People, turkey should not be ground!!

I was making a batch of meatballs last week and kind of got lost in thought and actually mixed them up like I was making a meatloaf. They were actually quite good that way! :slurp:

We're pleasantly surprised. Between losing one dependent this year and having to report income from MIL's house ($$$ we have never seen actually), we thought we'd end up paying, but we're getting a refund.

She made TURKEY MEATBALLS and didn't tell me until I had already eaten them. She thought she was being all cute...but I haven't known her this long for nothin'. I got about halfway though the sandwich and threw it out, because I just knew something was not right. Keep in mind I had asked her point blank before taking a bite if she had put anything weird in the meatballs. And she lied to my face!!

She asks me (before her big reveal) "How were the meatballs?" I said "Bland." Ha ha ha...that got her goat. What, she thinks I'm stupid? Then I lied and said they were good, to which she says, "They're turkey and you couldn't even tell." I said "Yea? Then why did I throw them out?"

Oh, she is going down!!!!

But how are you all??

And thank you Susan...I am glad I have you guys! I know YOU wouldn't feed me ground turkey in tomato sauce.

Yes, you a terrible mother for wanting your kids to be healthy.

Dave would have my head if I did. His mom was into putting wheat germ in everything, so he's pretty observant when it comes to trying to disguise "additives".

I'm with Dave on that one. Just ask Grant...he's been trying to sneak food on me for years.

I take it you don't like turkey.

I like it on white bread with gravy and fries. Which is the only way it should be eaten.

Gotta run loves! Em needs her hair washed!

Have a great night.

that turkey sandwich sounds good.

I am sooo glad my DD's wash their own hair. I have a hard time getting them in the shower but when I get them there I can't get them out.:lookaroun:lol:

Good night Amy
