Did I tell you the new computer has a built =in card reader too? It's pretty cool. And I like Windows 7 so far!

So these last two days have very complicated around our house, a long time friend of my Dad's son has shot and killed yesterday morning. I don't know all the details but he had just gotten out a year long rehab and she had bought him a house and he was apparently really trying to clean up his act. But I dunno if he still owed some bad people some money or what but he opened his front door when someone knocked on it yesterday morning and this guy shot him in the head. His mother is a widow, and he was her only child, so a very sad situation.

I heard so much bad stuff about VISTA...it sounded like a nightmare.
But a few weeks ago I started giving computer lessons to an elderly neighbor. He has VISTA and I hardly noticed a difference. George says there are compatibility problems with some software, though.

I watched the last hour of "You've Got Mail" this afternoon. I've seen that so many times, but I just love it. And anything with Hugh Grant. "About a Boy" is one of my favorites.

Yeah my Mom just came home and said that the police believe the people that did it and it was a daughter he had seen in rehab and her mother...:shrug:
