Taking advantage of free wi-fi at Mebourne Airport. VERY nice terminal. Even struck up a nice 10-minute conversation about hockey with 4 TSA agents. (Never thought I'd use "nice" and "TSA" in the same sentence, but there you go. :o)

No wonder my ears were burning... :lookaroun

So how is your DD's BF doing with his new house? Is she there alot?
He's doing fine - discovering the "joys" of home ownership. And he got a dog - who comes from Puerto Rico - and speaks Spanish. DD is there on weekends, but has no intentions (yet anyway) of moving in.

Hey Jenny! I showed Abby the picture of Dot w/her bowl of ice cream, and I said "Who's that?" And she said, "Dot!". It was cute.

Awww, that is cute! I love showing Joel pics of all our Magic Friends babies, he gets a cute smile on his face. :) How exciting you're leaving so soon for WDW! I really hope Mike can get his Dec vacay request for next year, but he told me not to count on it, as it's based on seniority :(. So, we came up with a couple of alternative times to make a Disney trip, just in case.

Ah, yes. The joys of home ownership. We know them well.

Aw, that stinks. I hope it works out for you guys. Lou and I are both fortunate in that we can take vacation whenever we want. It's nice.

Edited to add: although being tied to the school calendar stinks, lol.

Yes, especially the older they get...if Abby wasn't such a good student, I wouldn't even consider it. Unfortunately, we'd either have to go during spring break or summer if I don't want them missing school. Which would be fine, but Hershey/Gettysburg is already planned for next summer, and Mike can only take one week off in the summer. So that leaves spring or fall, and next year, fall looks best for us. He's not allowed to take time off after Dec 19th, tho...no one is.

When would he know, Jenn?

After Jan 8th. Alternatives to Dec would be Thanksgiving week, or the week after my b-day in Sept. They'll be reviewing previous year's material in school in Sept, but would miss the least amount of school days T-giving week.
