I'm paying a little more than I would for SW, but I get the convenience of an airport only an hour away and knowing my seat assignment before I check in. :sohappy::sohappy: Now I can start pondering rental car stuff for the next couple of months - your experience didn't sound so great.

Any mermaid encounters?The pup's good...we finally ended up naming him Husker and I think he already knows that it's his name.

I'm flying with Airtran - I have a small layover in Atlanta on the way down, but I was able to get a nonstop flight back.

It wasn't bad after actually getting the car. Once we had the car in our possession (and had figured out how the whole thing worked...remember, we were rental car newbies, so we had no clue that you could pick any car you wanted, etc.) everything was very smooth.
If we had just finished using the little computer kiosk, I wouldn't have had to deal with the jerk guy and would have had a much better experience, probably.

DF said last night that he wants to write a book about why anyone planning on having kids should have a puppy first. :lol: Oh Airtran. I used to fly them LONG ago, when I was working down there. At the time they were pretty new and only flew between Orlando and certain cities. It was the only airline I could take non-stop from there to Omaha, and they were cheap!

And yes, I had 2 mermaid encounters on this short trip. I even got to see Vince's dance for his audition (which, as you may have read, did not go well.) and we had a great time together at the Adv. Club and at MK the final night. I also have some great pics that I am reserving for my TR.
(Although, he's got some interesting ones of me too, I"m sure.)

I was over on mousesavers, looking at National car rentals, they said something on there being able to apply multiple discounts, so I'm going to go back and read up on that. I have time though.

And yeah...Vince realized that being a character just isn't in the cards for him at the audition. I'm still really proud of him for trying and yes, he did just make it off the waitlist, so he does have a job waiting for him

Yeah...I tried doing it online, but I think you have to call to apply multiple discounts. B/c everytime I tried to use more than one online, the price never differed from just using one discount.
