Poor Marc. He's getting more than his fair share this winter, isn't he?
And teething...yes, it's about that time.

Thank you, love.

It's nothing... probably something he ate for lunch that's giving him an upset tummy.

*checks my temperature*

Night sweets

Hey Bun

Hey! LOVE the puppy... my favorite part of that pic is the toy sitting on your DF's chest... TOO cute!

Okay, lovies...
Time for Nyquil induced bliss.
Nothing worked last night...nothing.
And I'm in dire need of a good night's sleep.
Wish me luck.
'Night Night!

Helloooooo...

Anyone about?

Daisy night tonight...God bless the wee ones. Our lesson for them tonight was responsibility for what you say and do (it's part of the Girl Scout Law, yo). So My co-leader is great she gets them talking about things you might say that could hurt people's feelings, and what those things might be, and how it's your responsibility to control what you say.

Well, my Lord...the responses were as follows:

"You should never be a potty mouth"

"Never use curse words"

"Don't say the ____ word!"

"Don't say the H word!"

"Don't say the D word!"

And on and on they went...they natch did not say the actual words...but man, it was hard to keep a straight face. We finally managed to get them redirected, to which one replied "If you don't like someone's hair, you shouldn't say you don't like it, you should say you DO like it."

I can only thank God that I am not the only moral arbiter in these kids lives...

I was planning to hang Connor from mine.....

I think he might be a bit gangly.
We could compact him. :lookaroun
You know...go for the troll look.

What color hair do you think?

Y'all gave me a much needed laugh.

And I know you're not here, but Steph, I love the picture of DF and the puppy.
So cute!!

They are a riot. I used to think I couldn't be the Daisy leader...now I can see how it's all worth it. I stress over every meeting and once they're here I am always so glad I was shanghied into doing this.

Though I did have a Daisy Leader of the Year Award moment when I let the dog up from the basement after the meeting ended and my one Daisy lost it...I honestly have to say that her girly shrieks and protestations prior to this struck me as 6 year old drama. however, tonight, real tears of fear...I felt like such a jerk. Already dropped an apology to her mom...hope no harm is done.

On the plus side, one of them has taken to coloring me pictures and cards to bring to each meeting. Love love love.

And what's up with you, girlie?

Aww, Amy's getting love from all the little Daisies. :D
I'm glad you're enjoying it.
It's always cool seeing something you didn't really want to do turn into something great.

I'm busy...kinda stressed over everything.
How are you?
Staying away from all the sickness?
