Honestly Joanna, I don't think you're going to have any issue... I mean, I imagine they only pay you for the time you work; so it's not like you'd be getting paid to leave 4 days early... and it's only 4 days; it's not like you want to keave 2-3 weeks early... And it's because your classes start; not as though you just want to end your session early...

Honestly, most likely he is going to be an understanding guy...

I really hope so. Luckily, for the most part my managers have been nice. A couple, well...:lookaroun

That's what pushed my over the edge on making the decision. Contacts alone would have been $700 a year.

I got it done around 4:45 on Saturday. By 8 I was in front of our TV watching the TN/Memphis game. It was blurry, but MUCH better than without glasses. Then on Sunday I drove to church! It was hazy--like I slept in my contacts--but I could still see fairly good. Yesterday I felt like it was even better, but I struggled with looking at my computer screen all day. Today it's even better!
I go back tomorrow for a follow-up.

That's not too bad. I reaaaaaally want it though. If you don't mind my asking, how much was it?

I knew about the wedding planning and moving but that was the last I had heard. I hope she is okay also.
So she IS moving...? I wasn't sure what the latest decision on that was. Maybe she'd just busy getting all that in order.

Hi Dot!!!

Well, I had an astigmatism in both eyes--not a really bad one. But just having it at all caused the price to go up. It was $1600/eye, but I had a coupon which made it $3000 even (no tax) for everything--including my follow-up appointments for a year.
DH and I just got out of debt in the beginning of 2008 so we have been blessed to be able to pay OOP for it.

I should say that I've heard of some people paying $6000 or more for both eyes.

I don't know if she is moving or not. I had just heard she was hoping they would.

Hi Susan.
Not very good.
But I miss you all so much...
What is going on?

Yes, it's Dorothy. :lookaroun

Thanks Dot! I can't tell you how excited I am about it. You should do it! ;)

There's a small matter of cost. :dazzle:

What is going on?

Horrible virus, or flu, or something.
It hit us hard.
But I'm feeling a smidge better today.
