They told me in both. :shrug: (I think one was very monir though) And it was a little more expensive because of that... but still under the number I expected.

Did insurance pay for any of it?

Wow that is fast.

I was very surprised. I couldn't make out shapes let alone faces on the TV before that. My prescription was about -3.5 or -4.0. But just a few hours later I could make out faces on the screen. It WAS pretty hazy that first day, but I remember getting in the elevator after just leaving the doctor's office and being abe to read, "Permit on file at main desk in lobby." I almost started to tear up!

No... my insurance would have given me a discount... but only with certain doctors. I was willing to pay that extra 10% to go to someone with a really good reputation.

I wished it did... If my contacts weren't going to be so expensive I might not have thought that much and seriously about doing it. But since they were about to run me $700 a year anyways, I thought why not just take the plunge...?:shrug:

Probably Amoxycillin, usually chewables. DH will pick them up on his lunch break.
