She's had her shots before, but never had blood drawn. She had already had her finger pricked earlier that day. I also found out she is VERY strong. It took all 3 of us to hold her down.
I just hate not knowing what it is. Hopefully today we will find out.

I had to lay across Joel's body, Mike held his feet down and the nurse held his arm. I felt like the worst parent ever.

Prayers are continued, Rick..keep us informed, OK?

Honey, I know you are worried and I understand. But I know everything will be fine.

Good for her for being so strong...and isn't that the worst feeling in the world, holding your own kid down so people can "hurt" them?

Hey all.. thanks for the prayers last night. She needed them. Had she run a fever again, we would've had to take her to the emergency room. She slept through the night without any fever. She goes back to the Doc today for results hopefully and maybe they'll give her an antibiotic.

Thanks Stephanie for letting everyone know. And she was right, the shot to draw blood was NOT fun at all. Very Dramatic.
No prob. :) Hope today goes better w/ the doc and she starts to feel better.
Gotta love NJTransit!
I don't believe I've ever heard that sentence before.

Well, they've had their own fevers, fortunately not too high. Abby missed one afternoon, Joel the next. But as I said earlier, Joel's immune system is crap, so it will take him a little longer to get over this. Now if they just disinfect the school....

Yikes!!!

I am glad for it really...I feel guilty calling off work, but I'm in the same boat as Jenny. Em would have gotten another absence if it wasn't for the snow.

Amy forgive me for lack of geography, but where is Bucks county? Are getting the worst of the snow?

I know Dot and Steph are.. but they ALWAYS do.:p
