He's not laying around as much, wanting to play a little, so that's good. Still seems to be feverish, but at least he's showing a little more appetite and drinking lots of water. It usually takes him twice as long as his sister, because his immune system is garbage. :brick:

Sounds like he's on the mend.
Good day to be snuggled up inside, anyway.

Bring up a disability thread, and stand back and watch. Passions run high all the way around.

Indeed.
Really hot button, that one.

Well I am south of Boston now; traveling 60 miles north to go home

I'll probably hang around until 10:30-11:00 and just play it by ear I suppose

AND DO NOT REMIND ME OF THAT THURSDAY IN DECEMBER...

Just go home while you can still get there.

:o Sorry! Just wanted to give you incentive to not stay too long at work.

Snow Day!!!!!!:sohappy:

I'm just glad he doesn't have another absence on his record - we're getting close to the cutoff. :(

Did you see the comment about pregnant mom parking spaces? Predictably male, that one.

That's the one that got me.

Yay for a snow day, Em!

I know I would have appreciated one when I was pregnant with Joel - I carried him so low. Besides, we're talking one or two spaces at the most, not a whole line of them. Now when I go shopping I park further out, don't mind the walk a bit. Some people just get silly about it all. :hammer:

Hey all.. thanks for the prayers last night. She needed them. Had she run a fever again, we would've had to take her to the emergency room. She slept through the night without any fever. She goes back to the Doc today for results hopefully and maybe they'll give her an antibiotic.

Thanks Stephanie for letting everyone know. And she was right, the shot to draw blood was NOT fun at all. Very Dramatic.

Oh Rick - I was going to PM you this morning - thanks for checking in. So many sick kiddos round these parts right now. :(
As far as the blood draw...been there, done that. Almost needed therapy of my own after that experience. :brick:

Hello, Sir Richard!
So glad to hear your little one is a bit better.
Hope she continues to improve quickly.

She's had her shots before, but never had blood drawn. She had already had her finger pricked earlier that day. I also found out she is VERY strong. It took all 3 of us to hold her down.
I just hate not knowing what it is. Hopefully today we will find out.

:sohappy::sohappy:Yayness for you!

Took the train in today and got to work w/ no problems. :)

Morning, btw
Thanks!

Gotta love NJTransit!
Yay for Freddy too! :sohappy: On our end however, we are now counting make up days :( - our calamity days got used up with the previous storm.
Thanks!
That stinks...I know sometimes they give us days BACK when we don't use them.
That could possibly happen this year - not likely, though.

Yes, I have the computer back. Em loves talking to y'all...she's getting to be a rather good typist as well! Naturally I spell everything out for her but the time lapse between letter requests is getting smaller.

She just gave me the third degree about y'alls kids...Lauren who is a grown up, Joel who is her same age, Abby who is a big kid...she wanted to know did we ever talk about our kids.
