And they said 2 weeks then?
In that case, I'd give it time.
I know you're anxious, but you have to do this their way.

I know. But it's so frustrating, because I have never had to wait this long (except for when I auditioned). Even last summer didn't take half this long and I applied last minute).

I don't think there's cause for worry just yet.
Do what you think is right, though.
You've been through it all before.

s'up, dorks?

Perhaps the chromosonally challenged among you can explain why the male of the species feels the need to "help"?

Em has been sick since yesterday, and tonight, all on her own, she curled up under a blankie and fell asleep. She's been running a fever and the doctor said plenty of rest and fluids so I told her she had to take it easy if she wants a shot at going to school tomorrow (she cried this morning when she couldn't go...talk about a dork!).

So her father is upset because she didn't take any motrin before falling asleep. I, in my foolish ignorance as HER MOTHER AND A FEMALE say that sleep is the best medicine she could have. So I go downstairs to read for a bit, only to hear about 5 minutes later, her wailing and gagging because she's been woken up from a sound sleep to take medicine to make her more comfortable so she can sleep.

And how are you all?

Hello love.
He meant well, I'm sure, but oy...sleeping babies, regardless of age, should always be left to sleep.

Hiya doll!

And yes, yes they should. For example, I will often let Grant sleep in on the weekends based on that very same principle.

Em did go back down...took about ten minutes of Mommy and she was all good.

I feel like I'm missing out on this AI stuff!

Indeed you are.
