That was an absolutely amazing performance with the characters and little kids... No shame in saying I cried :) It was so cute and they did an amazing job.

Question. My friend didn't get to see it, is anyone going to be posting it or where do you think I'd be able to find it online?

Thanks and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! :xmas: Let the holiday season begin!!!

I loved the kids dressed as Peter, Hercules and the Prince's and Princess' :D
Why is it in the "non-WDW" section? It was a WDW themed float. It even had the WDW logo on the ship and the "Happiest celebration on earth" thing.

The parade and float were awesome. So cute to see the characters dancing and than all the little kids dressed just like them. The song Leann sang was great as well.

If you have not noticed.....eventhough its DLs 50th, the vast majority of the celebration is at WDW....why....more people = more $$$$.....its simple...

Flame me if you want, but I wasn't that impressed.
Yes, I can explain why, just give me a second.

Ok, here is some backround: In Philadelphia we have the 6ABC/Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade. As you all (should) know, Disney is ABC's parent company, and for as long as I can remember Disney has been a large part of our parade. Click for a promotional Picture from last year's parade. They usually send one of the local reporters down to WDW and show a few special clips.* What really makes this special is that we see tham not just for a few minutes on a parade float, we get a full-blown show in front of the art museum. Yes, you had Rimes sing, but we had Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, Stitch, Chip, Dale, the princesses, and some others that I'm forgetting. I'm not trying to bash the Macy's float, but I just have to say I wasn't that impressed. If you have the chance to see our parade next years, I suggest you check it out.

*Just to let you know, the clips this year were nothing ground-breaking, except for a special EE clip. I cannot say it was anything we've never seen before, but it did have some commentary by an imagineer (not sure who, but it wasn't Rhode) and some great footage of the ride during testing from angles which a guest could not get. The one thing that did really catch my attention was a quick shot of the train going up the lift hill from the perspective of the rider and a shot of the switch track, taken from above.

I thought it was very well put together....very adorable. The children looked so happy and did very well. I was teary through the whole thing...especially the "little" Prince Charming and Cinderella.

WAY TO GO DISNEY!
It was simple and huge at the same time. I was bored basically through most of the parade until I saw the Disney float/show.:xmas:

I have to agree with Connor. I saw both and thought that the Disney float in Philly kicked the butt of the float in NYC. I did however, like the kids matched up with thier adult counter-part in NYC. Did anyone else see the one in PA? The guy paired up with Belle looked really familiar.
