Now that M:S is FINALLY running at full capacity, what are the wait times looking like?

In particular--

* What is the POSTED wait?

*How long does it take to get through the standby line ONCE YOU ENTER THE BUILDING?

*How delayed are the FastPass return times? (e.g. 2 hours from receiving your ticket)

*Standby wait?

My experience on Wednesday:

Posted wait times: Single - 5 to 15 minutes, Standby - 10 to 25.
Fastpass return was typically 50 to 60 minutes in the future.

Most of the time, all queues were nearly completely empty. There were times when a bit of a wait developed (due to technical difficulties), though they quickly disappeared once things got rolling again. Most of my 9 rides were walk-ons. I always used the Singles line, mostly just because it's a shorter walk. I wouldn't have had to wait any longer had I used Standby.

This was in the afternoon. I don't know how things were in the morning.

Is it just me or does MS have a great capacity level? During the june previews when only 2 fuges were open and running, the line was into the overflow queue, yet the line never stopped moving and the wait seemed incredibly short. I know since then they've added fastpass and single rider lines, but also TWO more fuges!

I imagine MS will become packed during the heavy tourist seasons (Christmas) after it "officially" opens. Considering it is still not on the map yet, "ordinary" tourists may or may not realize it is open now. Don't forget, by now most of the locals/fans/AP holders have ridden it and the major summer tourist season will be over by the time it opens publicly (Aug 15), so don't be surprised if MS doesn't have huge lines after it opens, especially if the capacity level is as good as it seems to be. I mean, will it ever get Test Track lines? TT seems to have awful capacity considering the standby line hardly moves.

You say it's not listed on the park maps...but I'm curious...is it on the "attractions list board" in the middle of Future World?

(I'm just curious if they mention it...and if so...if there is any "animation" for it like they do for Test Track)

Not as of Monday, I watched it for a little while to see if any MS was added and didn't see any during the Future World part (I didn't watch the whole thing though :) )

Wait till the commercials start hitting T.Vs, then the line will be up for the real test. We will have to wait also for a peak season like christmas to see how M:S handles REAL LINES!!!!

On August 4th, which was the first day it was open from park opening I believe, the standby was 60 minutes, single was 20. The line wasn't out of the building though, so I don't know how it was 60 min.

Thanks for the info... we left on Aug 2nd and seem to only open after 1pm or later...

This was also one of the 3 annual passholder only preview days. I think it was designed to make no to little wait for us "special" guys ;)

Do the 4 centrifugers run at the same time?
ie: 1,2,3,4 @ X:10 X:20 X:30 X:40 X:50 x:00
or in succession
ie: 1 @ x:10 / x:50
2 @ x:20 / x:00
3 @ x:30 / x:10
4 @ x:40 / x:20

I am sorry, Aug. 2 was a walk on as were the other 2 annual passholder days, but I meant to say July 31st, not Aug. 2nd...sorry

Ohh.. This sounds good. I'm going down on Labor Day weekend. I hope to ride Mission: Space Saturday afternoon.

Do you think it will be open without a two hour wait?

Thanks!!
Cindy

When I was there a couple of weeks ago they had a sign set up in future world telling you that a M:S preview was going on, but nothing on the attraction board. There was a picture of that sign in someone's gallery. I'll see if I can find it.
