Good day guys!

I'm live from WDW at Old Key West resort!

And let me tell you guys that I HAVE gotten to ride the much talked about M:S! It was awsome! The music is great and everything! I only experenced a head-ache for 30 mins around my 13 time riding... oh yea, I have ridden 17 times.

And now to the update:

-Red centerfuge operational
-Opening close to 4pm everyday.
-75% of cabins have joy-sticks operational (they move like a real plane or space ship)
-40% have some sort of black-light operational (this illuminates the controll pannels and makes the words light up better.

And for GrizzHall...

after leaving the red centerfuge, they were playing a Mission:Space theme song along the lines of We Go On, Tomorrows Child, and others! It's really cool and has themes about reaching for the stars and stuff. Really good.

Lyrics, I think!

Great great news! EPCOT has taken out over 10 original songs and replaced them with...well...scores...which aren't as Disneyesque.

We haven't had an original song added to EPCOT since...

hmmm...

uhh...not then...

nope...not then...

1986!

:sohappy: :sohappy: THANK YOU, IMAGINEERING! :sohappy: :sohappy:
(See? The devil is in the detail! Or lack of!)

What is the setup for the attraction? Like where is the post show as opposed to the centrifuges? And where are the centrifuges if they are laid out like
1 .... 2
.
.
3 .... 4

I'm assuming they had two next to each other open first, so red is on the opposite side so to speak, correct? So is the back left (1) red?

If you view the overhead shots of M:S during construction you can see the basic layout of the fuges. They are like 4 quarters laid out on the table, each touching the other to form a "square." The que dead ends in the "middle" of the 4 quarters, somewhat like how Alien Encounter's pre-show dead ends between the 2 main show rooms. If memory serves me, Blue and Yellow are to the left, and Red and Green are to the right. All fuge exits go to a main hallway which leads to the post-show/gift shop.

Hmm... Theme music with lyrics? Does this mean Disney is starting to listen? I think it's about time we started selling "Down With Gemini" T-shirts and baseball caps. :drevil:

I was at cast meber previews the other day and noticed the song as soon as I got off the ride. I thought i was listening to "We Go On". It is indeed a female voice with a very laid back feel. I could barely hear the words (my head was spinning from the ride) but from what i could tell the words were extrmely...?inspirational? if thats not fat too chessy to say. I did notice that it was kinda catchy (again in an inspirational kinda way:p ). Thats all i know....couldn't stick around long enough to hear the exact words but would love to know what the words are.

I'm looking forward to hearing this -- and the good news is that this is the kind of thing that ends up on a resort OA. Is it too much to hope for a new Epcot OA?
