Mission Space has been one of my favorites ever since it opened up. I had real doubts going in because of my love for Horizons. I didn't really think that Test Track was as great as the World of Motion. I LOVED Horizons. I have a tattoo of the symbol for the ride on my back. So I Mission Space had to wow me and it did. I ride it multiple times any trip through the gates of Epcot.

Does Dramamine and the like help with the effects of the ride? I am really torn about riding it when I am out there in April. I want to ride it but I don't want to risk being ill for a day or even a few hours. Body Wars was ok, I can ride Star Tours most of the time with no ill effect. No other rides effect me. I am just cautious about M:S.

How about being ill for just a few minutes??? I say go for it because you'll never find out if you don't try. Take the Dramamine as a precaution. I'm pretty sure it will work. I'd also recommend some Tylenol. Have fun training at ISTC!

Don't worry about Dramamine. Go to the Docs and get the good stuff. Metlocoplamide or Cyclazine. Tell the Doc you're going on a cruise and get seasick and Dramamine doesn't work for you. You'll be fine on M:S after that.

I have ridden it and enjoyed it the first time around. When I rode it on my last trip, I wasn't really up to it when we rode (would have wanted to do it later, rather than early in the the day) and I felt funny. :hurl: I think the people sitting next to me thought I was a freak...I just kept yelling "oh god, oh GOD!!! GOD!!!" Needless to say, I was a little irked at my husband for a few hours....

Will I ride it again? Sure.....just not first thing in the morning

I love the ride.. My wife does not care for it too much, so I use the single riders line.. I have never felt sick any of the roughly a dozen times I have ridden it.. I think as long as you pay attention, keep your head back, eyes forward and open, that most people would be fine with it..

The first 10 seconds are/were the scariest/godfearing moments of my life.

And on a side note, the pressure and air was so intense that my eyes were tearing the entire time (might have been because of my contacts, I don't know).

M:S for those who haven't ridden it is just different. Its hard to describe it fully. Its intensity is over-rated, in my opinion. It doesn't throw you around, but rather glues you to your seat. Its not rickety, not bouncing, just smooth. Its a feeling of motion, rather than real motion, but, of course, real motion is making that feeling.

If you follow the instructions, and don't stress about it, and you are otherwise normal and healthy, its not that bad. M:S is magical, a near real-life experience of something, made up from magical and scientific means. A good fantasy/story, and something different in every way from any other ride. People bring up Spiderman from Universal as something different, and unduplicated. M:S is in that vein. Easily one of my top 3.

Went on it. Thought it was OK. Took a while to get my balance back again. Did not feel sick though.....only minimally dizzy. Probably will not go on it too much in the future.

Oh, and for first riders, if you want to go on, just keep going, do not skip it like the videos say if you are feeling uneasy, the first time I went on, I was scared, my heart was pumping, and when I got in the capsule, got ready for launch, and felt the rumble of the engines I knew I was in for a ride!

I know this ride will make me sick, therefore I will not ruin most of a day of a vacation that I plan for most of the year. I have nothing against MS, but you have to know your limitations. TOT makes me a little queasy, so I'm not even gonna attempt MS.

You know, the surprising thing is that no one has said they fear dying/death on the ride because of the incident with the 4yo.
