M:S re-ride-ability...

Or how about the coasters where the back seats are much more violent than the front. Disney will make you sit in those seats whether you want to or not.

Gotta disagree here. My mom won't ride RnRC in the back because it's gotten rough. Her requests to ride elsewhere are always granted with no problems. I prefer a back row ride on Big Thunder, and everytime that I've asked for it I've been accomodated.

You can pretty much always choose your seat on a Disney ride, even if they assign seats by default. All you have to do is ask.

You can always make requests at Disney, because CMs are trained to always work to meet guest demands, but most guests will go where CMs tell them to go. There are no 30-person lines for the front row seats on RnR like you would find at Six Flags.

Am I right on this or just thinking wrong but the reason the back seats of any coaster are worst than the very front seats is because you are riding on the brakes the entire time. Prime example ride Thunder Mountain all the ay at the front, and then ride it in the back you will see what I mean. Just my 2 cents.

Personally I think M:S is exactly what Epcot needed a good shot in the arm of excitement, and entertainment. Everyone I have rode with on it, and or talked to after riding it has enjoyed it.

The back seats aren't as smooth because at the top of any hill, in the back seats, most of the train has already gone over the hill, so you get yanked over the top much faster than anyone else--more air time, but also more intense. Now, imagine that at the end of a banked turn, there is a steep drop (happens on most Disney coasters)...the front half of the train is going down the drop while you are going around the turn, so you get yanked around the turn faster than anyone else--that creates higher lateral G-forces, also making the ride more intense. The result in the end is a far more violent ride in the back seat:)

err.. I've been to several six flags park.. and while I will admit, the crowds at RnRC were considerably less unruly.. the crowd for the front row was still as large as other parks

Last 4 times I was on it, there was no line for the front row that was any longer than the other lines. We got lucky and were directed to the front row. Am I wrong on this, cuz maybe they change it up sometimes?

While there's not a separate line for the front like what you'd see at something like Hulk or Kraken, the way the rows are set up at RnRC does allow for more people to wait for the first row. It's not much more, but in my experience there's usually a slightly longer wait for the front. Typically you only have to wait for 1 or 2 trains if you're assigned to rows 2 through 12. For the front, it could be 3 or 4.

I wouldn't say that the back seats are "worse" then the front. They are just different.

In the front, your waiting for the back of the train to catch upto you, so it's less intense. The rear of the train is more intense.

If anything I think the front is worse then the back... :)

I am forever requesting the back on RNRC. I like it, cause, during the first loop, right in-between the bridge to the next inversion, you get great negitive G's. I also like the back, cause everyone in line gets to see me do the 5-4-3-2-1 countdown, and then, I do some rude symbol with my hand

It's been many, many years since I've ridden a Gravitron, but I remember them being more intense than M:S. Of course, with M:S you are cut off from any sensory clues that tell you you're spinning, so you can't really compare the two. It's an entirely different kind of experience.
