Lunch at Yak and Yeti or Rainforest Cafe in AK?

It depends. I think the atmosphere at Rainforest Cafe is more unique, but the food is typical American fare. The setting at Yak and Yeti is beautiful and well-themed but less unique, with an Asian-inspired menu. Do you want a hamburger and fries in the jungle, or tempura shrimp in a pretty Asian restaurant? Personally, I'd always choose Yak & Yeti.

While I am not fond of the food at either and would give the slight edge on food to RFC, I would base my answer purely on the location of the 2 restaurants. RFC is all the way at the gate for AK, which can be a hike to get to and from where as Y&Y is more convenient to everything else. If you were planning on leaving right after lunch, I would go with RFC. If you are planning on sticking around for the parade (best parade on property besides Boo-To-You, IMO) go with Y&Y.
I would personally go with TH if you wanted to TS lunch at AK.

Not one of your choices, but I would recommend Tusker House for a TS lunch but it is buffet instead of "a la carte".

Yak & Yeti. Split some appetizers. I like the dim sum basket for two and the seared ahi tuna.

Y&Y, the food is far superior to RC. I really enjoy their duck.

I would go to Yak and Yeti because there's a Rainforest Cafe in the mall near me, so I wouldn't go to one in WDW. That being said, I've never been to Yak and Yeti so I have no idea how it is.

I am so sad, I actually just cancelled a lunch that I had booked there. It was on the same day that we had Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue and I didn't want to be full for that dinner so I just cancelled it and saving it for next year.

Yak & Yeti! I've been there twice and was happy with my meal both times.
Y&Y. There are other opportunities to eat at RFC, including at DTD. Y&Y has great location, nice atmosphere, and isn't available elsewhere.
