luggage tags

Anyone know if they still send the disney luggage tags? Not the yello DME ones, but the ones like last year.....they have a castle and had YOMD on it. Last year they were listed on my paperwork and this year they are not listed.

Y'know...I never really noticed on my paperwork whether it was there or not. I suppose I will go look..........yup, not on my paperwork, either. That's OK. We have enough of them. We have one on every piece of luggage and then some.:)

I got my paper work three weeks ago and I also got the luggage tags with the castle and YOAMD on them. I ordered my travel package through AAA but they said the package came right from Disney!:)

My invoice/ reservation just has the stay details etc on it. I should be getting the packet in the next few days so we will see if they are still in there. Last year the tags were blue with the castle YOMD very similar to the pic on the planning dvd. Hard plastic a little longer than a credit card. I don't think I have a scan.

I was told by a WDW reservation agent that the only way to get the luggage tags is if you purchase a room/ticket package when you make your reservation. If this is true or not I'm not sure, that is just what I was told.

I always has gotten the DME tags and the commerative luggage tags - I do however always book a room/ticket package though. Got them in my paperwork for my trip in 12 days.

Jim...you just got your DME package, not the full voucher/confirmation one from Disney itself. You'll prob still get it. Also, Jim...i'm only a few towns over from you.

We got the blue and white tags with the castle and pixie dust swirl on them for our trip coming up in nine days. We got them about a month or so ago. We only have our room reserved we haven't bought our park tickets yet.

Ok.......so I had to call disney today so I asked about the luggage tags, they said they only get offered to people with MYW packages and they only send them if they have them "on hand".....I think thats pretty bad.....if your supposed to get them, then you should, it should not be an "on hand" thing. My guess would be the amount of people booking trips right now for free dining that not everyone will get them.

I got my DME stuff 2 days ago!!!!!!:sohappy:

But today...I got my full packet and inside included a luggage tag for each of us!! I guess they will still be given.:)

The yellow tags for DME are sent out by a different department. You should receive the Disney tags along with your resort voucher, etc. Don't be jealous, you will get them....:)

I got mine today!!! Yea!! I love that packet! :sohappy: They arrived maybe a few days later this year. They are the same ones as last year.

Does anyone know if they ship your information package to Canadian residents? We are booked for August 26-Sep 3 and we have already recieved our DME package.
