Nope, he's gone, sorry. I believe he is in either Hong Kong or Tokyo right now

edit: quick search on wikipedia says he's in Hong Kong, and will eventually be moving to DCA. As with anything on wikipedia, take with a grain of salt. Although that seems quite out of place, so who knows

Lucky was only out for about two and a half months back in the summer of 2005 at Animal Kingdom. He then went to Hong Kong for the opening there but after a brief stay was brought back to California and from what I've read in other threads, is now quietly in retirement in the storage and production warehouses in CA. There are no plans at this time of him coming back out to the public. The latest in this kind of interactive AA was the Muppets science lab featuring Dr. Honeydew and Beaker that made some limited appearances in Epcot Fall 2007.

so does that mean he's going to be in DCA soon?

Because Lucky is in Glendale doesn't mean he will automaticly visit Disney's California Adventure... :lookaroun

He's in the R&D building that's it... nothing more, nothing less... :D

Is it safe to assume that the kidnapping plans did not pan out or are you still just waiting for the right time?

I know, hence why I asked, instead of assuming.... I'd definitely rather him stay than head over to DCA- definitely out of place

I'd really like to see them bring him back to the Animal Kingdom. He was something that would work very well there and I think guests would really enjoy seeing him around.

Why would they just let them sit and rust? with all the exposure the travel channel generated for lucky, I would think they would be more apt to use him again...unless he was prone to fits of carnivorous behavior.:fork:

I would hope he would eventually make his home in AK but I suppose you could use him with a tie in to the la brea tar pits which are in California.

Since dinosaurs became extinct more than 65 million years ago wouldn't it be pretty odd to see one walking around....well......anywhere?

My kids think I roamed the earth with the dinosaurs - does that count?
No. My kids think the same thing and if I was to validate it that would be the same as admitting that I am old and I am not prepared to do that for at least another 80 years.
