Love Those Disney Visa Points........Anything Special You Use 4?

We don't use Disney visa anymore. Cap one offers way better cash back reward than Disney. More for every buck spent. We always pay our balance off every month as well.

Same here...switched to the Venture Card (and the AMEX Blue Cash), more rewards, more places to use them. Disney Visa gave me 1% back, AMEX Blue gives me 3% back on Gas and Groceries, CapOne gives me 1.25% on everything...all for no fee.

The only time we use the Disney Visa anymore is when I forget that I have a recurring bill hitting it (happened with my Amazon Prime membership last month), or when I'm on property and want that additional 10% off my merchandise purchase.

There is no exp date on the GC. To clarify, I was speaking about the GC, not the actual Visa cc.

I guess I will have to call or try to look it up online.

Make sure when you say 'gift card' you mean the right thing.

The rewards card you LOAD your credits on is NOT a gift card. It's a rewards card used to redeem your points. These DO expire.. once you transfer the points to a card.. they must be spent before the card expires. What others are talking about is using your rewards card to buy an actual Disney Gift Card.. which doesn't expire.

That should be a gift card then -- at least it was when I got one for either opening the account or referring a new customer (can't remember...it was too long ago). You could go to disneygiftcard.com and click on "check your balance" and enter the number to confirm that it's a GC (if it doesn't come up, it's not a gc). If it truly is a GC, it doesn't expire.
