Love Is In The Air!

Good Morning Folks..After watching,yet again,another vacation DVD of our third trip to WDW and our first stay at PORS last night. It came to my attention that I have this bond between myself and this resort,it's almost like a secret love pact.There was a scene where my DW was filming me without myself knowing.I was standing on the bridge overlooking the old Sassagoula river.For those who know this resort,it's the bridge outside Parterre Place.There I was looking down south towards downtown,in another world,day dreaming of what the day stored ahead.Probably about 7.00am as there was no one to be seen.So this morning I'am wondering,does anyone else have a love thing going for their favourite resort.Maybe it's just a spot where you stand at and it brings back memories.? Go on. Hit us with your stories.

We have stopped at pop century twice (08 & 09) and when we were at the resort on an evening we would sit looking out over hourglass lake and watch the sunset.

Am completely in love with CS resort.Don't know exactly when it happened bujt just feel at home and comfortable there.I particularly like the Ranchero's section and could sit for ages watching the lizards or by the lake watching the frolicking alligators .
Have thought about changing to another mod ( PORS) but can't bring myself to do it.Nice as it looks just isnt the same.Strangely never even considered CBR as an alternative.
All in all the cast member at the desk sums it up all up when they say
" Welcome Home"

I had lunch at Pepper Market at CS many years ago.I was in a hurry to catch a show at Epcot.I asked the CM sever for an Alligator sandwich and make it snappy.

Wilderness Lodge is our first love...we go down to the dock and watch the EWP...when it's over, we sit there...after everyone else has left...it's so peaceful. Mornings are wonderful to...we'll take a walk through the wooded path and watch the animals...deer, rabbits, ducks... We feel as if we're in another place...not at a Disney resort.

Fort Wilderness!! We have an rv and love to camp in general, but The Fort is our favorite place to be. It has the magic of Disney, but the relaxed atmosphere of camping.

Yes...I love this resort...it was a favorite of mine for many years. Loved my early morning walks to the food court and crossing the bridge.

One of my favorite resort memories was staying at AKL and late, late one night I was sitting on the balcony with a friend and we were just chatting about life, the universe and everything while drinking a glass of wine as we watched the animals slowly meander about the savannah in the 'moonlight'. Truly magical.

POFQ sitting on a bench along the river, it is quite and watch the boats going up and down the river!

Contemporary - I just love sitting down on the dock at night watching the Electrical Parade, then stopping off for get a cold one to take up to my room to sit on the balconey enjoying the castle lights. Always a perfect ending to a perfect day.

Our fav will always be PORS. We just love the location, the quietness, and the hospitality here. My fav is to sit at a table overlooking the boats eating breakfast. What a wonderful way to start the day!!

Wilderness Lodge. I can go into the lobby, find a nice spot to sit and just enjoy it. I also like to look at the Lodge from the front and the back. Just sayin'. Plus, when I went there in the evening while on business, it felt like I was cheating on my wife. She took the news well as she only called me one bad name.

Seriously, it is so relaxing to go there that I can feel stress just melt away.

I enjoyed just walking around the WL and especially the POLY lobby as well as the grounds. Beautiful. Peaceful.
