Good Morning Folks..After watching, yet again, another vacation DVD of our third trip to WDW and our first stay at PORS last night. It came to my attention that I have this bond between myself and this resort,it's almost like a secret love pact. There was a scene where my DW was filming me without myself knowing.I was standing on the bridge overlooking the old Sassagoula river. For those who know this resort,it's the bridge outside Parterre Place. There I was looking down south towards downtown,in another world, day dreaming of what the day stored ahead.Probably about 7.00am as there was no one to be seen.So this morning I'am wondering, does anyone else have a love thing going for their favourite resort.Maybe it's just a spot where you stand at and it brings back memories.? Go on. Hit us with your stories.;)

POFQ is of course my home away from home. I love sitting in the garden at any point and relaxing. I also love walking around the same area at night especially if has rained recently!

I'm partial to the Yacht Club myself. I like the concierge floor there and the lounge. I love having the boardwalk so close as well as Epcot. The pool is great for the kids as well. Cape May has a good breakfast and Shulas is just a stroll away. We like to walk around the Epcot resort areas. Too much to list here as to what makes this area great for me.

Although I have warm memories of every trip/ resort we've stayed at, and I LOVE the BW, I'd have to say POFQ is where I feel the most comfortable. I love the quaintness. I love the iron railings and the color of the buildings. I love sitting at Scat Cats after a long day. I love floating down the Sassagoula at night. I love walking down Rue De Baga and enjoying the perfectly manicured gardens. I love diving for Doubloons in the pool with my son. I love sitting at Mardi Groggs and discovering the people sitting next to me are from the same town. And most of all...I LOVE THE BEIGNETS!

Am completely in love with CS resort.Don't know exactly when it happened bujt just feel at home and comfortable there.I particularly like the Ranchero's section and could sit for ages watching the lizards or by the lake watching the frolicking alligators ;).

Though we haven't seen 'frolicking alligators' at PORS, we HAVE seen a turtle snatch a very small duckling from the water and thrash about. It was very sad! In fact, this is the only negative experience I have ever had at my favorite PORS! I love the very early morning walk when the resort has not fully awakened. The only critters out and about are the rabbits and geckos, and an occasional wild golf cart :).

I have two. The first is anywhere at Dixie Landings, which is what I will always call it. The pool, the food court, riding bikes through the grounds. All of it takes me straight back to my adolesence. The first time I can remember really noticing boys at Disney was on Old Man Island. Ah, nostalgia. Flash to 20 years later and watching the New Year's MK fireworks with my husband from Sunset Point at the Polynesian on our babymoon. That will always be our secret spot.

I am in a serious relationship with the poly. While my passion does not rival tikimans, I am absolutely in love with the resort. It's hard for me to put a finger on what exactly I love, I think it's a combination of the atmosphere, the food, and the great customer service I have always experienced there. I love the pool, I love captain cooks, I love kona cafe, I love fishing in the lagoon off of a charter from the marina, I love taking the resort ferry back during wishes, I love the monorail loop... I could go on.
