I left my favorite Doc Marten's in the hotel room after checking out. Two weeks later they arrived at my front door!!!

I lost my wallet on July 21st in the men’s room near Germany, reported it lost and now almost two weeks later, nothing, nada, zip. I had $32, 3 AP's 2 credit cards, my license and SS card and un-replaceable pictures of my family. The clown who found it had to know the AP's would get canceled as well as the credit cards and that I'd put a watch on my credit reports so why not just take the $32 dollars and drop it off at lost 'n found? They must have seen the pictures of my daughter and had to know that her vacation would be affected by this loss but it mattered not to this individual. It took me under a minute to realize that I had lost it and get back to the men’s room but it was too late. QUOTE]
I'm sorry this happened to you. Do you think you lost it or were you pickpocketed?
I found a wallet that was under the ledge of a bench in Frontierland and I suspect it could have been dumped from a pickpocket. The wallet was one of those huge ones that actually looks like a bible cover. Upon unzipping it and spotting a couple of dozen credit cards; I immediately zipped it back up and brought it to lost and found. I couldn't even tell you if there was money in it or where the person was from. All I could think about was what you stated; how your family would be affected.
On vacation, my husband never carries a wallet. Only a money clip with driver's license, and a few $ and he carries it in his front pocket. We always split our money up for the day. I carry my license, and a few $, and passes in my front pocket. My waist pouch has the camera, and the little incidentals we need for the day.
My father, who is retired N.O.P.D., always preached to us, since we were old enough to need an ID; NEVER, EVER, carry your Social Security card on your person.

Thanks for your concern and I am positive I was not pick pocketed, I normally do not carry my SSN but I forgot and left it in my wallet.

Just kidding you! "Sony is no bologna". However, the DVC stinks.jmicro59 said:Hey now, I had a very good Sony CD1000 digi camera and I loved it. 10 x zoom, 2.1 MP and it wrote the pictures to a mini-cd.

This happened to my grandparents on our recent trip this past Christmas. They left 2 presents in their hotel room - both were outfits for my grandmom. She had loved them (and she's hard to shop for!) They realized they couldn't find them when they got home.........called Disney.........and about a week or two later, they sent them back! At first they couldn't find them, and offered to reimburse my grandparents for them...........but then they found them. The CM's are so wonderful!
