"LOST" Merchandise

Does anyone know if they are selling LOST merchandise at MGM? I seem to remember there being a store on Hollywood Blvd. that sold ABC related merchandise. I was looking to pick some LOST stuff up on my next trip and was hoping they had some.

We looked all over MGM for Lost merchandise in mid-March and only found a couple of little things at the AFI store at the end of the Backlot Tour.

I continue to be confounded that they still have racks and racks of Binford tool merchandise and basically nothing for Lost

We went last summer and my wife was looking for a desp. housewives shirt and i was looking for Lost stuff. When I asked someone who worked there, they said that they rarely get anything for ABC TV shows and to not expect to see it there. He then suggested we try ebay. You would think that they would carry something since disney owns ABC and it is the Disney Studios theme park.

:lol: Yeah, I get a kick out of all the "Home Improvement" merchandise, especially since the show is in reruns and isn't nearly as popular as...say..."Seinfeld." Another funny thing: all the Lucy merchandise at the Studios, while the Lucy tribute is at Universal!

Problem with the online store is that they don't ship to Canada.

Last time I was there, Lost merchandixe was in the store that you exit into after you get off the Backstage Tour.

They used to have LOST and Desperate Housewives merch in the DTV store on Pleasure Island.

But seeing as DTV no long exists thanks to the PI refurb...

yeah, they used to have numbers shirts and mugs and whatnot.. even the flashing prompt :> or whatever it is. I just always wanted a DTV shirt... gosh i miss those videos. They never had them though.

I was surprised at the lack of current ABC items in the parks. The AFI store had a few Housewives/Lost/Alias T's last fall when I was there, and the books that go with the shows, but none of that neater merchandise.

I asked as well, as I especially wanted one of those Housewives laundry bags that say, "Everyone has a little dirty laundry..." The girl said they rarely get stuff like that, but said she thought something like that would be popular.

I wish they'd just open up an ABC store - I just can't bring myself to order stuff from them online, but I would have bought two of those laundry bags if they had them at MGM. Weird, I know, as I shop online all the time...

BTW, I'm sure most Lost-ies know, but at the ABC Commisary in MGM they have a couple of small displays of Season 1 props - Charlie's shirt, Jack's shirt, one of the little baby dolls.

I can't think of a way to do an actual ride, but I'm thinking it could be like the Swiss Family Robinson walkthrough for the next generation... the hatch... the beach... the caves... I mean, how do you make a plane crash fun? It would be cool to play island golf or shoot a polar bear, though!

I saw an Oceanic Air shirt a while ago... I should have bought it then! I like merch. that's related to the attraction/show/movie, but not a straight pitch... like getting something ISTC instead of M:S. I think I need a Driveshaft tour shirt and I need to find the Oceanic Air shirt again!

WOW, a hatch walkthrough would be AMAZING, and a sudden lockdown every few hours would be so AWESOME!
