ABC will air a one-hour "introductory guide" to Lost. The special is designed to help new viewers catch up on the series' sometimes dense mythology as well as act as a refresher course for regular fans. The "Lost" special, set to air on Wednesday, April 27 at 8:00/7:00c (the show's regular time period), will focus on the characters of Jack (Matthew Fox), Kate (Evangeline Lilly), Locke (Terry O'Quinn), Sawyer (Josh Holloway) and Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) and retell their respective backstories in a linear fashion. It's unclear however how the clips will be introduced and if the hour will include any "behind-the-scenes"-type footage.

Has anyone else spotted actors from LOST in other TV shows? Recently I've spotted Locke in an episode of Star Trek: TNG, and Sawyer in an episode of CSI. It kinda ruins their characters a little, but not that much.

The actor that playsa Locke was a regular on Alias during Season 2 (I think it was 2)

The actress that plays Shannon was on an episode of Law and Order SVU

Wow....GREAT episode tonight

Something I found....the transcript of the radio conversation of Boone...

Boone states :we are the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815

The radio respsonds: There were no survivors of flight 815

Ok.....some are now saying that the closed captioning was incorrect, and after in-depth study, the transmission said "we are the survivors of Oceanic flight 815"

It was scratchy and short is all I know..Think you can find us a forum or audio clip to study?

I have been looking....cant find anything

I have always thought that in the season finale, they would discover the tail of the plane and more survivors.........but would not meet or interact with them until season 2

After listening to the radio transmition again it sounds like Lockes voice is the one saying that we are the surviors of Oceanic flight 815...thats what i can hear.

The guy who plays Locke has been on the X-Files before (my all time favorite show) and he played on Millennium. The guy who plays Jack (Matthew Fox) played on a show that was really popular years ago, called Party of 5 (one of my favs too...lol). The girl that play Claire (the pregnant girl) used to play on Roswell (WB show).

I saw Sayid in The English Patient.

I can't get Speck's link to work to rehear the transmission. However, I swear that the transmission in the show was different then what they'd been playing in the ads. I thought in the ads, the woman on the radio said "we've been searching for you".

Also, I missed the whole "Theresa falls up the steps, Theresa falls down the steps, Theresa falls up the steps" bit. I understand that it had to do with Boone and his nanny, but I missed why. And why was Locke's mom standing in the woods at the same time and chanting that message with Boone. I understand why she was pointing towards the trees (for the plane).

I loved the whole Mouse Trap theme. Locke said to the kid in the toy store: If you set up all the pieces and line everything up right, then you can catch the mouse. Locke was caught in a mouse trap by his father (kidney thing). Then he (or is it all the crash members) is/are caught in one by "the island".

Awesome! I'm a bit torn though. I can't wait for the season finale because I know some things will be answered. On the other hand, it will mean that we'll have to wait till the fall for more new Lost episodes.

Meanwhile, we just had "House of the Rising Sun" yesterday. I think it's the 6th episode, not sure. Anyways, it's the one with the bees, Adam and Eve, Jack moves in to the caves, and we find out Sun actually speaks English. That was a shocker right there. Can't wait for the next one, the previews showed some sort of cave in.

Yeah, it'll be a while before I join in discussing with you guys.
