Looping water Slide

God bless the "Ignore" button.
I'm sure it's safe enough... if you're not an idiot.
Therefore, Disney will not be investing in a slide of this type.

yeah .. some of those bathing suits for women have so much friction that this scenario is pretty much possible .. havent seen this slide yet .. (and according to the video this slide isn't in germany )

Can you give me a brief synopsis of what the voice over is saying?

The one in Germany looks alright although I can see many problems.

If Disney had this I would probably ride it but I really don't see it as a Disney attraction.

Can you give me a brief synopsis of what the voice over is saying?

the actual footage seems to be much longer and this scene is somewhat ripped out (I guess it was a coverage how this slide was build and this is the final test stage)

so the voiceover says .. this slide is a prototype worth 500.000€ (err around 790.000$ or so )

after the man is "launched" via this fast trapdoor, the voiceover says the first test run was successfull and now it's the turn for the safety inspector (the second guy in the launch chamber .. I wonder why this guy wasn't the first one to test .. lol) ..

when this inspector does the ride it's explained that the whole ride has micro water nozzles to lubricate every part of the slide tube (minimizing friction) and all of those water nozzles are constantly checked for failure (computerized failsafe)

now it's the girls turn and she's shivering in adrenaline when she's coming out the tube

now the voiceover said that all saftey authority tests have passed and such a slide could now be build in germany (so by stressing this I guess this prototype wasn't build in germany .. but this video doesn't hint where it was build)

Just looking at those pictures and watching the video made me feel uncomfortable... Summit Plummit scares me enough, but at least I know I'll survive it..

Just watching the video made me feel uncomfortable too!! And I won't even step foot on Summit Plummet. I am not afraid of rides at all, but Summit Plummet is just wayyy to high for my liking for a waterslide.

The the one with the video looks safe enough. Although i would like to see a larger male like myself successfully ride it before i went on it .

Thanks...It's nice to have translators from around the world.
