Looking to steal some proposal creativity

I've decided I'm going to propose to my girlfriend when we take a spring trip to the world. We are going to take more of a relaxed approach and hit the beach for a couple days too so our in-park days are limited. I was hoping to propose at MK but I don't really want to wait until the end of the day. I looked at all the great ideas posted and I really like the simple photopass proposal where I would suggest another pose and then ask. I'm looking for something like that where there will be a smaller crowd and is within my tight budget. I was hoping you guys out there could suggest some other ideas that would be within tight budgets. The more romantic the better!

You could propose at Cinderella's Wishing Well. I can't think of anything creative or romantic to say, but I'm sure some others could.

It's a popular place to pop the question at DL and is my dream proposal spot...

Hope this helps.

Those are both good ideas, and I'd be pretty guaranteed that they wouldn't be removed from the park later so we could visit the spot again. I think the hardest part is finding a really good idea for during the day.

I have used them several times for special events, including decorating my room on my wedding night.

We've used them for 3 events and I totally agree, Jane and her Pixies are great. My fav event was for my brother's 40th where we did an Amazing Race type scavenger hunt through Epcot complete with Road Blocks and Detours. At the final destination he received his birthday present.

I think the English gardens at Epcot are simply beautiful, and fairly deserted.

The ferry at sunset would be very romantic, as well as any of the beaches.

Make a late ADR so that you leave the park after closing. It's very romantic then, and you do feel all alone.

I really want to propose at MK. The wishing well is really growing on me. I'm just looking for something a little special to make it pop! I just don't have much of a budget since I want to do the proposal and ring all on my own.

I think the wishing well idea is a very good one. I saw where someone on the site posted about it and looked me into it. I like it. I hope my future Prince Charming knows about it. :D

Me too!

My best friend knows where I want to be proposed to (the wishing well), so she's hopefully going tell my future Prince Charming about it... :D

That's a good idea. I will have to tell my BFF about it. She already knows the ring, as does the rest of my family. LOL! What can I say...fairytale much?

I have an idea... it doesn't come from a proposal but a suprise. A woman walked up to a cast member and said she was suprising her husband w/a scavenger hunt and needed to know where exactly she needed to go. The cast member knew exactly but decided to play along to help w/the magic. She told the kids that she had talked to Tinkerbell earlier in the day and she had been given some pixie dust. With pixie dust wishes have an even better chance of coming true. She asked them if they would like to come with her to the Wishing Well at Cinderella's Castle to make a special wish. When they got there the kids made wishes, and mom had gotten Dad where he was needed for the Bday suprise.

If you can enlist the aid of a cast member it can help it run even smoother.

NO guarantee this will work, so you should have a backup, but if you were getting to the park bright and early, before it opens, they usually pick a family to "officially" open the park. If you can let CMs know on the sly you'd like to pop the question just before the park opens, maybe they'd let you be that family.

Another possibility, though one that requires some timing and effort: When you get inside the MK, have a Main Street Photographer take pics of the two of you. No suprise there, nothing out of the ordinary. Get a Photopass so you can check out the pics later. Then, later on, try to be around Main Street at a time where she'll need to "powder her nose." Take advantage of that time to find one of the Main Street Photographers, and take a picture of yourself with a "marry me" sign, OR simply holding the ring. Put that on the same Photopass, and then a little later on during the day, suggest it might be nice to check out the pics. If you timed it right, she won't know you did it until she sees the pic. While the Photo Pavilion isn't THE most romantic spot in the MK, it will be a totally unexpected surprise, and as an added bonus, you'll always have a memento of the exact way you proposed.

Best of luck, however you decide to do it.

Hey, it's a special occasion. It's gotta go just right!

Although, I'm sure whatever way our guys chose to propose to us will be magical!

Ok guys. I have a question but I feel really dumb asking. Where Exactly is the wishing well? I read that it was between the castle and tomorrowland but I don't remember ever seeing it. Is it in that garden-ish area before the bridge like trail? Thanks for the help.

Also, to ask when opening the park would be an incredible moment, it's a great idea slappy magoo!!! I think it deserves a call beforehand to beg and plea at the very least!

It would be a great place to propose!

Take the walkway on the right, coming from "the hub," right before you enter the Castle. It'll be after the smoking area *cough, cough* on your right.

Thanks for the info guys. Of all the times I've been there I've never stopped to see the wishing well before.

@slappy magoo: Luckily I'm pretty confident she'll say yes. We've been dating for a long time now and we've talked about it (in a one day kinda way so that she doesn't see it coming)
