Hey guys, I need help we are younger and it is my fiance's bday. She wants to go to a place within Disney that is more upbeat, good food, music, alcohol if possible:D , I just cant seem to figure out a place b/c theirs so many restaurants. I dont want to spend 70 a plate lol, but dont want a bar or anything. We are not the quietest, so dont want to be in a place with violins if you know what I mean. ANY help would be great, just seems like a crazy amount of choices, but cant pinpoint if they have that atmosphere??

DTD is the best! Or after dinner you can go to Jelly Rolls at the Boardwalk. its a piano bar and is supposed to be a good time! As for eating really anything at DTD or the ESPN club at boardwalk. Good Luck and happy birthday!:sohappy:

I saw the house of blues, and DTD seems to be the only place that has a little more of the food/ party atmosphere in the actual restaurants.

As a 21 year old Disney nut here are my advices...

- House of Blues (DTD)
- Planet Hollywood (DTD)
- Jellyrolls (Boardwalk)
- Hoop-de-doo Review dinner show. It's all you can drink (beer, wine and Sangria) which is always a bonus!

Happy Planning!

My bf and I will be taking our 4th trip together soon, we are 22 and 27, some of our favorites are: Mama Melrose, Tokyo Dining / Teppan Edo, Tony's, and House of Blues. We also like drinking our way around the world in Epcot or having some drinks in the Rose and Crown.

You may want to consider one of the following:

Big River Grill and Brew pub (BWR)
Bongos (DTD)
House of Blues (DTD)
Kona Cafe (Poly)
Paradiso 37 (DTD)
Raglan Road (DTD)
Rose and Crowne (Epcot)
Rix Lounge (CSR)
Todd English's blue zoo (Dolphin)
T-REX (DTD)
The Wave (CR)

Think for yourselfer
I was just about to suggest Raglan Road when you said no pubs. And you know what, I am still suggesting it. The music is good, the Irish Dancers are awesome, the food is delicious. And it is most definitely upbeat. I know it is a "pub" but it is not like your typical NYC pub. It is very nice inside, I mean you are still in Disney, so you won't be getting a dingy drinky pub experience.

If I was you I would look into it. Check out some pictures, look at the menu, read a review or two. You might find it is your best option.

Paradiso is fairly new. I would stay away. The food is mediocre, the atmosphere is eh. I found it to be a disappointing experience all around.

Paradiso 37 at Downtown Disney.

Great variety of foods from all over the Americas.
Fun, fairly loud atmosphere.
Great location right off the water.

My wife loves a good party and great food. But she leaves the WDW restaurant decisions to me

Paradiso is the ONLY restaurant she INSISTED I make an ADR at for our upcoming trip.

The house of Blues is a restaurant and yes it does have a bar, as for Paradiso 37 it has now been open for about 3 years so yes it is newish. Thety serve Tex Mex, Mexican and slight Carribean fare and there is loud music and tons of Tequila to wet you whistle!

Besides DTD and Boardwalk, I would suggest Rose and Crown( kind of a bar feel also stay for Illuminations)

A little different would be Biergarten in Germany Pavillion, some fun music and large beers

I must say that Character dining as an adult is a blast. I travel to WDW with a group of adults and we always have the most fun a Character dinners. :sohappy:

I agree!! During my college program we had a blast visiting the characters and eating at character meals. Maybe even more than when we were little!!
