While I was working on the "Celebration 25" DVD I captured footage from my families one and only trip to WDW in October of 1992.

This is where I got the footage I used during many of the "History Walks" including Horizons, JII, Wonders of Life and more.

I am continuing to go through the footage and have began the process of dividing it up into sections and sharing it.

My 1st contribution, The entire "Mission to Mars" preshow:

The entire "Mission to Mars" attraction:

Those are some great videos...did anyone call Martin yet :ROFLOL:

It was great to see MtM to kinda fit in the AE/SGE set up. I never got the chance to see MtM in wdw, but it was the same here in DL.

we have come a long way baby... that AA in preshow didn't hold a candle to my rumba vac. In hinesight, the show itself shows us just how innocent we were in the early 90's. thanks for posting a bit of history.

Am here. Oh boy! Another angle on WDWs greatest family journey to space circa 1975 :D More to the point; a nice shot of the updated oval entrance sign (the same design was used on the mall pylon but I`ve never seen a close up of it)

This and IYHW were my lasting memories of WDW from 1979 - and sparked my interest in immersive attractions and how they can suspend a guests belief - air filled seats and all! I recall making a cardboard cut out version of the mainshow wall screens, with little tabs to pull which exposed the various side screen info caption. At the age of 7!

Thanks Matt
