Not so much these days...the only way they could build it now is if they do the Space Mountain thing and build the main show building outside the park, on the other side of Avenue of the Stars.

However....Switzerland's spot is still completely available. They just need to evict Africa back to Animal Kingdom.
I think your getting Japan and China confused. Japan is on the other side of USA, and China is by the road. There is more than enough land.

Nope.

Japan goes right up to the road. China has a giant warehouse and the Illuminations float storage behind it.

We need time for things to happen.
You know instead of blowing 2 billion on "next gen" and throwing out countless millions on nonsense Disney could build these and really flesh out Epcot and give it some easy thrill rides that actually make thematic sense too.
How dare you bring logic into a conversation about how TDO should be spending money. You should be ashamed of yourself.

And here's the other attraction for the pavilion that was to happen the Bullet Train

Hmm... was this going to be anything like the ride technology they've rumored to have planned for the Hogwart's express?

Look at young Marty Sklar at 1:25 in the video. Wish guys like that still had their hand in the pan. We might actually see some of these attractions built.

Does anyone know why Switzerland and those mountains were not built? Can they still be built? Gosh- that would be so cool!:greedy:
we really don't want the Matterhorn. Trust me on this. It's terrible.

anyway. by the looks of it, the World Showcase could comfortably fit another 6 or 7 Pavilions. Would be great if THAT was on WDW's 10 year plan...

Build the structure and they could put anything in it.
They could of made it better than the Disneyland attraction.

It would be a larger and improved version according to the plans.

They could build it like you said in the back and re-direct the road. After all Disney can alter and change their land as much as they like.

They'd also have to either redirect and fill in portions of the big canal on the other side or build a bridge for the queue and build on the wooded area beyond the canal.

I think any plan to incorporate a mountain could include building it OVER the existing store building making the area multi-purpose. The store doesn't need to be that big and they would need to make room for a load area. But there's no reason why they couldn't "hide" the rest of that building within a mountain.

I could see them theming it beautifully with this set up! The mountain, bridge, and landscaping; I can see it now!

I was thinking the same thing!

Agreed. I think its one of the most overrated rides. Not to mention its painful! :\
