Lonely, But Fun, Tram Ride at EPCOT

Yesterday, EPCOT was empty. So empty, that when we were leaving at around 5:15 PM the tram ride to the parking lot was completely empty. My family and I were the only ones on the tram and we received a personal escorted ride to the parking lot. The ride included the regular goodbye spiel including telling us how we could get help if something was wrong with our car. I felt so special and waved at everyone we passed as if I was the Grand Marshall of some parade. You had to see the faces on people when they saw us all by ourselves on the tram. All my years going to Disney, nothing like this has ever happened.

After my excitement wore off I began to think about how the lack of crowds may have been fun for me but not good for teh beloved Mouse. :(

 Sounds like fun! A few years ago my family and I were able to ride the tram alone! It was great... It was pretty late and all the crowds had leveled out so by the time we were at our spot, we were the only ones on the tram!

Many, many years ago, my family got a "private" ferry ride! It was just the three of us and the driver approaching Magic Kingdom, all lit up at night.:)

I've always wanted to get on a monorail by myself...And luckily I had the chance to do it.We rode from the TTC to the Polynesian. I was jumping around and stuff, with my friend we were going crazy..

Don't you just love those special moments when you feel Alone, just Alone at WDW?!

When I go to WDW, I always ride the monorail 45 mins. before closing. I always rode the front of the monorail, it was so much fun, the night sky, being alone with the driver. By the end of the trip, I knew the monorail platform attendant at the Grand Floridian very well!

I once rode the Monorail alone (with family) from MK to Grand Floridan alone. We sat upfront and we had a great ride. But sitting up front anytime is great, especailly pulling into the Contemporary.

Not Disney, but

I once rode Jaws at Universal all by myself near closing, and complimented the tour guide for her performance despite the oddness of it all.

My family went to Islands of Adventure in FL. November 2001. It was right after 9/11 and I have to tell you there could not have been more than 100 people in the park. It was EMPTY. I honestly can say we had the whole park to ourselves. We walked around

That's kind of depressing. I realize more people are coming to Epcot at 5:30 at night than going, but still.

Reminds me of a fantastic day at Blizzard Beach many years ago. Blizzard Beach was closed on Sundays through the winter that year. Starting in March, it was going to be open on Sundays. All literature said it would be open starting the second Sunday of March. I called the day before the first Sunday in March, and they said it'd be open! (Despite the fact it wasn't promoted anywhere.)

Weather was perfect, and every single slide was walk-on the entire day! Could not have been better...
