Running into problems getting ADRs for our party of 5. Would it be easier to get a table of 2 and a table of 3? (Two families, we don't have to be at the same table).

Remember, when you call we will always automatically look for table combination for you if we can not accomodate your party at one table.

Although the restaurant will do their best to seat you nearby, when booked on more then one table there is no guarantee where the tables will be in relation to each other.

Yes, sometimes. Usually the dining CM will offer that option to you if there is not an adr time available for the size of your party. And while they can't gaurentee it, there is a chance that they will put you together once you are there. So even though you are booked at two different tables, you might get lucky and they can put you all at one table.

We've had to book seperate tables a few times, and we've always been lucky in that they were able to put us altogether.

Thanks. We let each of the kids pick a character meal, and we cannot get ADR's for two of them (Ohana and Tusker House). I've been calling everyday for two weeks, and starting to get discouraged.

Is it better to call first thing in the morning (like it is with resort openings) or is any time of day ok to try?

We had to split our group of six into 3 and 3 (or is it 4 and 2?) for Le Cellier, and that was at (gulp) 3:45 in the afternoon! The things we do for Candlelight Processional preferred seating...

Have you tried booking for a less popular dining time - or have you tried all possibilities ??

We've tried all possibilities (except for Tusker House, the kids are set on Donald's Safari breakfast). There have been openings, but after 9 pm, and that time just doesn't work for the kids.
