Lockers

I know the parks have lockers where you can lock your stuff up, but how big are they? For example, if we bring our folding bag chairs into the park to use for watching fireworks, are the lockers big enough to store them? Or do I just need to run back to the resort to get our chairs closer to time for fireworks? How much do the lockers cost? Is it a one time, all day fee, or do you have to drop in a quarter or two every time you open it and close it again (like at Sea World)?

I am sure that the lockers will be to small.

However in MouserGears I saw them selling these neat little folding chairs, didn't get a price. But they were very lightwieght and easy to carry around. Good for long lines too!

When we were there in Septemeber 05, we used the lockers in Epcot and MK.

If i rememebr rightly, they had two sizes of lockers, small and fairly big. Dont know if your chairs will fit in them though.

You dont need to top them up with quarters. I was one price that we paid think it was $7, and then at the end of the day we took our key back and got a small amount of money back, think it was 2 dollars.

So i think they were about $5, someone may correct me on this though

Hope you find out about your chairs

I've only ever gotten one at MK and they're actually a pretty decent size. Very deep. I've shoved many a package in them. *chuckles* However, I don't know about a fold-up chair since I guess it depends on how small it folds up.

I also have to say I'm not sure they'd let you have a chair anyway.

They run $7 but when you turn in the key at the end of the night you get $2 back. It's a net cost of $5 for the day and you can open them as many times as you want through the day. Bear in mind though, the ones at MK are allllll the way up front near the little gift shop just outside the underpass of the train station. So it's pretty far to go back-and-forth many times.

I've stored a monopod in there before and gotten at the end of the night, as well as storing warm shirts, jackets and such for the evening.

It's just a couple of those "bag" chairs you see at Walmart. The ones that fold up into a cylinder shape and then fit in a bag and the bag has a shoulder strap on it. So you just carry it over your shoulder into the park.

I'm sure I've seen them there many times, but maybe I'm just imagining things.
