Locals: How often do you go to WDW??

Just wondering how many fellow locals are on here, and how often you guys go! We are annual passholders and we live about an hour away....which is absolutely amazing, but sometimes really hard too! Sitting here in my office on a beautiful Florida day like today is torture when I know I am only an hour away from my favorite place in the world!! However, I also know that if I just couldn't resist it any longer, I could head over there later even if just for a few hours. We went for the day last weekend and I am already itching to go back. I am fairly sure that we are going to go for a day or maybe even two next weekend, and I am already super excited!! I think we average one visit per month, and sometimes if we are lucky and can find enough free time, we will go a little more than that. So I was just wondering how many other Disney nuts there are like us in the area... :ROFLOL:

I'm not in Florida, but I live exactly an hour from Disneyland and know how you feel. Anytime the weather is exceptionally nice on a day that I know is a "slow" day, it kills me not to run up there. I usually head up once or twice a month, usually by myself because my family is apathetic.

I'm close enough that I can get to WDW proprty wthout even hitting a traffic signal :lookaroun

I go quite a bit... sometimes I'll just hop into a park for lunch... or just to even walk around. I'm usually there at least one weekend day.

It also depends on the time of year, too... When its cool out and the crowds are down I'm there quite a bit... but come July... forget about it!

We are about 2.5 hours away and we go as often as once a month. If we were an hour or less away I could honestly see us there weekly.

I live about 10-30 minutes away (depending on the road I take and which park I'm going to). Usually visit at least twice a month but sometimes its more than 5 especially during slow times.

I live in South Florida, so typically 4-5 times a year. However, this year alone I've already gone 3 times, with my next trip on Monday (I kind of don't want to go due to crowds, but out of state family is staying for a week), another one scheduled for May, and then another trip due to out of state family in June/July (again...crowds!). Add in trips in Fall for F&W and December for the holidays, and this will be a record setting year for me! I also became a Disney Store cast member last year, and promoted to mgmt. this year...so that definitely has had an affect.

we live about 50 minutes away and spend 3-4 days in the parks each month. so about 35-45 days a year....which works out to about 12% of the year!!!

Wow!! I am so envious of you guys that live even closer than me!! Not even hitting a traffic signal is pretty impressive! If I were that close I really probably would be there almost every day!

I live about 25 min from the park and go there on average about 3 times a month. In the summer it usually drops to about 1 time a month because the heat and crowds are usually unbearable.

At least every other week for a day trip. May be more for an evening out for dinner and fireworks. Usually 2 days for my birthday. 5 nights for Food and Wine Festival. 5 nights for winter holidays. 4-5 nights before summer.

And for some reason, I never get tired of it. I still get excited when I drive through the gates and always get that same feeling when I see the castle.

Just depends on how I'm feeling. If I've got nothing to do, I go quite a bit. But there's a point where it gets tired and stale and I'll stay away from it. I haven't been since late December. I'm going to Epcot this Sunday, however, for the Flower and Garden Festival.

I would love to live close to WDW to visit as often as I would like but I too am afraid that eventually I may get (dare I say) bored or tired of going to Disney...

I live 30 minutes away, and I am probably there every other week. I'm off every other Friday; so while my wife is at work, I'll just walk around the park and take pictures.

I'm 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic. I go to epcot usually one day of every weekend. I haven't been going to other parks much because I only have a epcot after 4 pass right now. But it's all good, epcot is my favorite park!

I live in South Florida, around a four hour drive. My family and I usually go around 3 or 4 times a year; typically on long weekends and avoiding peak season or the heat.
