I know groceries are available at Fort Wilderness. Are there any other WDW resorts where one can buy a loaf of bread? Thanks.

I believe you might be able to find it at any of the DVC Resorts, as they seem to have more options on groceries.

Or even the Deluxe resorts with DVC villas (YC/BC, Boardwalk, Wilderness), which have some kitchenette items in their general stores.
Not sure about Art of Animation, but I wouldn't count it out.

I know you can get items like bread, milk, lunch meat, etc. at the Contemporary Resort sundry store.

also any of the Hess stations on property should have bread in their convenience stores. Where are you staying? I'm sure someone here will be able to tell you the closest place to your resort where you'll be able to get what you need.

You can buy groceries at Animal kingdom lodge or Gardengrocer.com will deliver to any resort with a minimum order

If I remember correctly the Mercantile in the Wilderness Lodge had bread, snacks, some packaged cold cuts etc in the back.

Yes, any DVC resort or any Deluxe resort that has a DVC wing or annex (which is all of them except Poly [for now] and Yacht Club) have a smattering of grocery options, usually someplace in the gift shop. Honestly, the Values and mods may have groceries, too, I haven't stayed in one in 9+ years and I wasn't looking at the time.
