UPDATED VERSION - At the end of the thread...
Hi everyone! I'm Lizzy - i'm 8 months old and I just got back from my first trip to Disney World!
What an exciting trip this was... I learned all kinds of new things!
We left at 6am on Thursday April 27th. We pulled into the Dolphin parking lot around lunch time and got checked in to our really neat room that mommy's friend hooked us up with! We had a view of the fireworks at MGM and Epcot every night!!!
We went to Epcot that evening and hung out - and we found that I LOVE LOVE LOVE characters... I giggled and flirted with Chip for about 15 minutes... he gave me lots of hugs and kisses and it made mommy cry... (silly mom) Here's a picture of me with Chip:
Friday we went to Epcot again and spent some time in the pool... the Dolphin has a beautiful pool. We caught the ferry that night to Magic Kingdom so we could ride Pirates of the Caribbean before it closed... I thought PotC was pretty cool... I giggled at all the pirates and laughed when we went down the hill... good thing - mommy was a nervous mess, she was afraid I wouldn't like it... (silly mom)
We checked out of the Dolhpin on Sunday morning and hopped over to the All Star Music to get our prefferred room with the great view of the pool... we really had some great views this trip!
My grandma Honey, pawpaw, uncle Jamie, Uncle Caleb, Aunt Bethany and Uncle Brad all checked into the Music today!!! I sure love my family! We all had dinner at Le Cellier on Sunday night... i had pretzel bread (mean ol' mommy didn't share her steak) The food sure did smell great (and everyone was talking about how much they loved it - I wouldn't know... nobody passed anything but a jar of carrots my way) oh well...
Monday was MK!!! YAY!!! I rode almost everything in the whole park! I loved Peter Pan... (Nana made me laugh) I slept through Small World... but was wide awake during the Haunted Mansion - i'm a tough cookie though - I just looked around and stayed close to mom and dad on that one... It was a long day - we didn't get in until after 10 - (i think... i fell asleep before we got on the bus)
Tues was a slow day - daddy took me to Animal Kingdom where I got to look at all the animals - boy was that fun! There was almost no wait for any of the rides so we were able to do almost everything right away!
Wednesday we all went back to Animal Kingdom with all my family - it was a busy and hot day - we rode everything in the park and I talked really loud at Simba in the Lion King show - he must have reminded me of my dad b/c I kept yelling DADADA... who knows...
Wednesday night we went to Spoodles for dinner - that was really great! The food was super and afterwards we all got to ride on a big bicycle! I rode up front in the basket... I'm pretty sure I was the only one pushing the pedals... my uncles were really silly and kept ringing the bell to make me laugh... and people even stopped us to take my picture - i'm such a ham...
Thursday we went to MGM - I got left in my stroller alot today b/c mom and dad left me with grandma while they rode Coaster and Tower over and over all morning long... It's ok - i'll be riding them soon enough... The Light's Motor Action Stunt show was great but really really hot... they need to sell some bottled water to the people in the stands... we were roasting out there! We went to the Sci-Fi cafe for lunch on Thursday where I got my eyes full of all kinds of cartoons and space shows... I didn't eat a thing for lunch that day - I was much to busy watching the big screen...
Thursday night I got ahold of mommy's cell phone and chewed on it for about 10 minutes before she caught me... none of her buttons work now. oops.
Friday morning we had breakfast at Ohana with Lilo and Stitch, I pulled Pluto's whiskers and hugged mickey's neck... i love the characters!!!
Friday we met up with Pongo and Disney bunny (and bunny's hubby) that was alot of fun - I wanted to meet my friend MJ but it didn't work out - I was bummed... but there's always next trip!
Friday night mommy was doing laundry and managed to wash daddy's cell phone in his shorts pocket... so no neither of them have phones that work... :brick: (silly mommy)
Satuday we swam in the pool most of the day... we went to Epcot that night to eat dinner. I got to see Nemo at the Living Seas - (I tried to catch him but the dumb glass kept getting in the way)
And then Sunday we came home - there was a ton of traffic so it took us an extra 1 1/2 hours to get home... Aunt bethy's car broke down on the way home and when we pulled up to our house - our electricity was off... it came back on after a few hours - but it'd been off for awhile so it was a bummer ending to such a great trip... but everything seems to be working alright now...
Oh yeah - I learned how to stand up on my own while we were in WDW! And I learned how to wave and give high 5's! I put this to good use on the buses - i was a good source of entertainment for all the people who were waiting to get into the parks... LOL! I do what I can...
