Replacing those boats would seem like an awful big expense for a ride that doesn't generate much revenue (figuratively). I'm guessing they just dusted, maybe changed some light bulbs. Maybe replaced lights with LED, like over at the HUGE TTA refurb.

I find this really interesting because I was talking with one of my coworkers at The Seas who also occasionally works at The Land and he said that the new boats haven't even been built yet. This leads me to believe that they have either (1) decided not to go with the new boats or (2) this was just a prefurb for a later refurb in which they will add the new boats. My coworker did mention something about the AA gators in the rainforest scene getting fixed.
