Living Seas "Grand Reopening?"

I think the false advertising thing might be just a bit harsh. I see this as a weird anamoly more than anything. Maybe the pins were originally designed for when Turtle Talk and the shark exhibit opened, but were delayed for some reason and forgotten about?

Also, to my knowledge the sea cabs were running when the pavilion opened. Maybe you were there during a refurbishment of the system?

Thanks Marni, but when did they start operation?

I was ther in 1993 and we came off the hydrolators and there was nothing..

You`re welcome.

The Seacabs were in the pavilion since its 1986 opening - I think you must have got unlucky and visited during a rehab, and were escorted via the physical disability corridor to Seabase Alpha.

I`ve got a Living Seas video at #Disney Central with the full ride on, I believe Scot at bigfloridacountry.com also hosts it. In the meantime, look at my photo album where I have some stills taken form the video.

I guess I didn't realize that the "Living Seas" went down for rehab. What changes did they make to this attraction?

I did notice that the water outside the "LS" was completely drained during our last visit, but I thought it was due to excess water during the hurricanes. Thanks.
It didn't go down for rehab...
