Trip Report (LIVE!) My 21st birthday Disney Extravaganza!!

Hey everyone! My name is Aly and I just turned 21 on December 23rd! To celebrate, my mother (Tammi) and I will be in Disney from TODAY to January 5th! On the 1st, my best friend Megan will be flying to Disney World to stay with us until the 5th!! I visited Disney with Megan in May but haven't been there with my mother since my 16th birthday trip in 2010. My mother and grandmother surprised me with a Disney trip when I was 6 on Christmas day, so The World is very magical for us when we are together. We do have ADRs like the Epcot Dessert Party, Todds English bluezoo, san angel inn and Hoop-dee-doo revue, but otherwise, we'll be winging it day by day because that's how we like to do Disney!!

It's about 3pm here in PA, and our flight is at 8:40pm! We have a few pit stops to make before we're off to the airport!
-go to the bank and cash in our vacation change jar (Disney tradition!)
-go to harrahs casino to gamble with some free credit!

Enjoy Rainforest! We haven't been there in a few trips but have a reservation for April. Looking forward to it.

The room decorations are perfect for 60s at Pop. We'll be staying there for part of the time in April. Always enjoy our stay there.

Now waiting (literally right now) for the lion king show!!! So excited, it was still down on my trip in May so we haven't seen it since 2009!

Love the Festival of the Lion King. I always want to jump down and volunteer to do the walk around with the kids at the end. I might be the only adult but I guarantee I'd be having the most fun.

Tough to be a bug was fun!! It's honestly really scary for little kids, we felt bad for the little kids that were crying. My mom got stung by a hornet and wasn't too happy about that but as always we loved the bugs leaving their seats below our chairs!!

Got totally soaked on Kali river Rapids!!! Like seriously soaked. Here is a picture of my dry pants (light) vs my wet pants (dark) haha

We were planning to go straight to Hollywood studios for dinner at pizza planet, a comedy show, and to watch fantasmic, followed by a mini trip to downtown Disney but we decided to go back and get changed into new clothes. Not sure what we'll do tonight yet, but we'll see!!!

Got totally soaked on Kali river Rapids!!!

Doesn't surprise me! Kali is the type of ride we only do if we are going right back to the resort after.

We got showers and some new clothes and got me a new birthday pin since my name rubbed off of the other one, and decided to come to downtown Disney!
