Trip Report (LIVE!) My 21st birthday Disney Extravaganza!!

Hey everyone! My name is Aly and I just turned 21 on December 23rd! To celebrate, my mother (Tammi) and I will be in Disney from TODAY to January 5th! On the 1st, my best friend Megan will be flying to Disney World to stay with us until the 5th!! I visited Disney with Megan in May but haven't been there with my mother since my 16th birthday trip in 2010. My mother and grandmother surprised me with a Disney trip when I was 6 on Christmas day, so The World is very magical for us when we are together. :rolleyes: We do have ADRs like the Epcot Dessert Party, Todds English bluezoo, san angel inn and Hoop-dee-doo revue, but otherwise, we'll be winging it day by day because that's how we like to do Disney!! :)

It's about 3pm here in PA, and our flight is at 8:40pm! We have a few pit stops to make before we're off to the airport!
-go to the bank and cash in our vacation change jar (Disney tradition!)
-go to harrahs casino to gamble with some free credit!

I hope you all enjoy our trip report!!! We are snackers so we will try to get pics of our Disney grub before we gobble it up :p Will try to update as much as we can to share our magic with you all!

So after getting back to our hotel so late, we realized that we should just stay in to get some more sleep. Since it was way past midnight and pizza delivery was unavailable, we had a snack dinner from the vending machine. Up bright and early tomorrow to get our mugs and possibly go to MK before hitting up Epcot for the night. Will update after we get some shut eye!

Had a breakfast sandwich at POP and got our mugs!! I got blue and mom got green! Nothing's left of our sandwiches because we were starving from our snack dinner last night. :rolleyes: We saw a POP-tart bacon egg and cheese... :hungover: Anyone tried it??

Sorting through our extra trading pins we got off amazon... It's my moms first trip doing pins!

After that off to MK for some Main Street fun to get her a lanyard and get our Minnie ears!!!

Looks like you ladies are having a great time so far! Love the vending machine snack photo from last night! Glad you are posting live. Live reports add a little extra excitement. Can't wait to hear more. I will be following along!

Spent some time in MK walking around and got our beloved Minnie headbands!!! Also got my mom her first starter pack of pins + lanyard, the deluxe haunted mansion one!! Will post pics soon :) at the everything pop shop we picked up matching phone cases (they are available for 6 and 6plus now!) and I got a new and bigger lanyard to make room for more pins :) I chose lilo and stitch! Will upload some pics of pins later on, I kept some from our Amazon packs, made a trade with a couple from New York in MK and purchased a PoC pin I haven't seen before! Lastly, I got the cutest necklace ever! (Besides a lanyard, but we're talking necklaces that are appropriate to wear IRL :hilarious:) it's back at the room, will take a pic of that as well. :)
No rides yet, that's later at Epcot. :) for now we are chillaxing at the hippy dippy pool and getting used to not having to make any serious life decisions for 10 days :) (is choosing which dole whip to devour a serious life decision?? Hmmm..)

ah god,I live in Scotland and I'm having to wait till next September to go back to WDW lol,I'm well jealous but glad your having a great birthday trip :p x

Thank you!!! September is a great time to go, no crowds since it's back to school! Start planning now it'll be here in no time!

I am so sorry for falling behind!!

Currently--just taking showers filling mugs and heading to Animal Kingdom (one of my favorite parks!! ) FP+ for Killamajaro Safari, Kali river Rapids and lion king show!! Eating at my favorite restaurant in the world, rainforest cafe, walk in. :)
I'm going to back track about yesterday while we prepare for AK! Updates: had a nice dinner in Epcot at San Angel Inn, tortilla soup, chicken tostadas and spicy shrimp! Forgot to take pics but they gave me ice cream for my birthday and sang it was wonderful! Then we went on the Mexican boat ride and looked around gift shops until it was time for the Epcot sparkling dessert tasting party for illuminations!! Then went to MK for haunted mansion, Winnie the pooh, buzz light years space ranger spin, the people mover, and caseys corner(why have I never been?!!French fries omgggg) Pics and much more detail to follow, but I have to get dressed!

I want to go eventually but we are staying in The World this trip. Other than this board, I try to avoid the real world when I'm here, I have to gather the courage to go out there lol
