Trip Report LIVE- from Pop Century May 10-15

Jambo!! Just arrived at Pop Century this morning. We , my DD 21- DD Best Friend 21- and myself- no age needed. Lol. Stayed off site last night for free using points.

Arrived at Pop Century via personal vehicle at 6:10. Line for MK at 6:15 with a park listed opening time of 8am- already have about 15 people in it.

we are headed to AK with a park listed opening time of 8am. We are first in line at 6:15. Second and third in line showed up at 6:20. CM walked over and let us know first bus will be here at 6:45. At 6:30 there were 20 people in line.

Giving lots of line and bus info since it’s the hit questions now.

Oga’s is next! We headed to the Bazaar hoping to get in and check it out before Oga’s. The wait was for 30 min. Once we got into the Bazaar after the wait the CM let us know that it’s only one group per store. So now we have to wait in line for each individual store. Ugh do we have time. We picked one store that looked interesting and got second in line. First people came out quick and then the couple in front of us went in. Man oh man they took for-e-v-e-rrrrrrrrrrrr. It’s a tiny tiny store and they were in there for over 10 min. I know - I know, you get your own shopping time. Anyways - when we got in the store we quickly looked around and I bought a shirt. In and out in less than 2 minutes

With no time to spare I checked in online for Oga’s and we headed over there. “Table” was ready the text says. We check in with CM and are brought to our “table” which is not a table sadly. We- like everyone I think who goes there - hopes for a sit down spot. We ordered the charcuterie board and some drinks. I chose the Fuzzy TaunTaun and they order their drinks

I really miss the bartenders and the entertainment they provided !
Drinks, food, and company were all spot on though.

Cavalcades!!!! The music will suddenly get loud and that means a cavalcade is coming. Here they are...

After Oga’s we had 10 min to get in line for REC before the park closed. Disney Power Walk time!!
In line at 7:55 posted wait is 25 min. Off ride at 8:28

Headed to the skyliner and got in line at 8:46. The line was really, really far back. We passed a sign that said it was 15 min from this point. It was spot on right! We were on skyliner at 9:03

this sign is funny bc it is only on the AoA side. At Pop- the bus area has a sign that you can only use the Skyliner so

They are still showing the “Happily Ever After” show on the resort TVs at night. I think it has like 4 showings and the last one starts at 9:30

Day 3 May 12- Hollywood Studios again

At Skyliner at 7am. About 32 people in front of me. Park posted open time is 9am.
Opened gate to Skyliner at 7:25 and started running then at 7:34. Got out at CBR and was moved passed the middle que over to the Epcot air since they are not using it yet.
Yesterday I was in line 24 minutes earlier so curios the deifference.

7:40 I’m off at CBR and they are alternating putting you in the queen between CBR guests and Pop/AoA guests since the que is still short at the hub

745 they start running the gondolas. By this time the inner circle is full and they are moving the line down the ramp.
Get off of Skyliner and they que us to the right area. Yesterday I was out in the que to the left

Below is the walk to the que that goes towards parking lot.

Stand by- heading into Tower of Terror . Be right back.

They opened HS gates at 8:10 went through temp , security, and gate at 8:13.
No line for Toy Story

At 8:23 I was on Slinky Dog

Next stop MMRR. Got in line at 8:31. Posted wait time was 10 min and I was on ride at 8:39

I headed over to Starbucks bc at this time a couple friends I was stationed with in Germany live nearby and were coming to the park. My husband is active duty in the military and it’s so wonderful all the spouses I have met around the world and I love the chance to catch up in person.
I am really loving this mug!

Had lunch with friends at the Backlot. I loved this sign at the beverage station

I have not been able to get a boarding group but my friend was able to!! I was so excited. They got it for me even though they were leaving. I am

They left and I strolled towards ToT. On my way the rain started and it was umbrella time

Decided to head to MMRR instead since the line was shorter. Waited only 20 min for the ride and loved it. It was my 5th time to ride in 2 days. Watch gave me a rumble to let me know a big storm was coming.

I decided to get me a funnel cake and hang out under shelter in the Indiana Jones Theatre which is now a relaxation station
