Trip Report LIVE- from Pop Century May 10-15

Jambo!! Just arrived at Pop Century this morning. We , my DD 21- DD Best Friend 21- and myself- no age needed. Lol. Stayed off site last night for free using points.

Arrived at Pop Century via personal vehicle at 6:10. Line for MK at 6:15 with a park listed opening time of 8am- already have about 15 people in it.

we are headed to AK with a park listed opening time of 8am. We are first in line at 6:15. Second and third in line showed up at 6:20. CM walked over and let us know first bus will be here at 6:45. At 6:30 there were 20 people in line.

Giving lots of line and bus info since it’s the hit questions now. 🤗

Also- this is my first trip report soooo...... be kind please. 😎

She says to us that she had a screw out in her ankle 7 years ago and she says she thinks it’s coming out

Say what!!!!??!!!

We look at her with blank, confused stares. I look at her ankle and sure enough it’s pretty swollen and she said it’s painful.

Get her insurance card out and we start to search for places she can go. She calls parents. Finally at 10:30 ok we find a place she can go to. They leave and get back at
2am!!
They took X-rays and they waited hours for a technician to look at the films. They finally just told her if something was wrong there is nothing they could do anyways. Have her an ibuprofen prescription.
So— they slept in this morning a little. I was up on and off checking in with them.


Day 2 at HS here we come.......

They took X-rays and they waited hours for a technician to look at the films. They finally just told her if something was wrong there is nothing they could do anyways. Have her an ibuprofen prescription.
So— they slept in this morning a little. I was up on and off checking in with them.

Scooter time!! Front of lines .. no wait! Seriously .. sorry about this.. has to be rough and painful...

Wow, does that ever sound like a night. I hope the ibuprofen kicks in for her and the pain and swelling goes down.

I tried to tell her about the scooter. She wouldn’t budge. But maybe after today when they have a busy day at MK she will change her mind. Lol.

Hollywood Studios Day!!!!
Since they had a long night I ended up getting ready and heading there while they got some extra sleep. I was going to do the same but it’s not every day I’m at Disney World!!!

I headed to the skyliner on got in line at 7:24 posted park open time is 9am. Not sure how many people were in front of me by my approximate number is about 75-100.

Skyliner started moving at 7:30 and we transferred at CBR. In line at CBR and the skyliner there didn’t start running until 7:49.

Line moved fast at CBR. Even though I was not one of the first in line I was still in the top area of the que that goes down to the street.
Got to HS and of course into the next line which was for temperature checks. They had 2 lines for this but once HS opened at 8:15 they opened 4 more temp check lines and this moved quickly.

Next was through security which was painless and now on to actual entrance. Line again was fast moving and no wait. Used my Disney Walk to swerve through since it’s just me. Easy Peasy!!!

I chose to head to Slinky Dog since it’s probably my favorite ride here and I know we will do Millennium Falcon once the girls catch up with me.
I was at Slinky Dog at 8:25 and posted wait time says 20 min. On ride at 8:34 and now wait time says 70 min 😱😱😱😱

I then head to MMRR and get in line at 8:44. Posted wait time is 20 min. I get inside the building and DD calls to let me know she’s in the park and where am I. So I let them know I’m at MMRR and the line is short so they head my way and I waited at the front of the ride for them. Once they were in line DD says the wait is now 40 min. Oh- well I will wait since they both have never ride the ride.
Lost track of time waiting for them. Lol. We rode the ride which is amazing!!!!

We then headed to ToT but I didn’t check times since I stopped for Joffrey’s while they got in line. Posted wait was 50 min and they said it was accurate.
Off to RRC we go. In line at 10:33 and posted wait time is 50 min. Off ride at 11:20

We are a party of 3 and I wish the CM and myself would remember to ask so that we can not be seated in same car but opposite so we can at least see each other on the ride. I never saw them so it was meh.

Headed to Baseline Taphouse
I was able to score us the only inside table. Yesssssss. They had headed to Star Tours and since I skip that ride I went to Baseline. Worked out perfect. They actually heard about the AC table and left Star Tours.

I forgot before we rode Millennium Falcon we stopped for a Ronto Wrap!! Yummy

I had this last time I was here but it was not good. At 3 or 4 Ronto Roasters closes and you can get this at Docking Bay 7. That’s where we got it last time and it tasted like it was made way before we ate it. Which makes sense now that I know they close Ronto Roasters.
Anyway- It was yummy this time. Tables are hard to come by though but patience is helpful.

When we headed to Toy Story Land we stopped for a photo pass pic at the sign. Once done a gentleman asked my DD if she would take a photo for them since they are CM’s and cannot ask the photo pass photographer bc they have a Polaroid. She gladly did so and then he offered to take a phot of us on his camera. This is the photo he gave us and we just beyond love it!!!!

Sooo nice for him to give us this. We had no idea it was even a themed photo. We tried to catch up to tell them thank you again. Made our day. Such a keepsake and now I want this camera to do this. 😂
