For the past two decades, I have been completely incapable of hearing anyone say the phrase: "Let's get down to business", without me mentally adding: "To defeat the Huns!" to it.
And now this remake comes along and wants to rob me of that simple life joy?? No. Shame on you!

I agree. I’d rather see remakes like this, that are similar but quite different, than what they did with BatB (and what I’m assuming happened with Aladdin and Lion King)

Interesting. But I wonder what the more fantastical elements will be like? Will the Ancestors make an appearance? And what of Mushu? Is a Chinese dragon really going to get replaced by a phoenix?

Seems to be closer to the actual legend so i doubt it. I think articles were saying phoenix so that its easy to understand for readers. I’m expecting this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fenghuang

I am currently overwhelmed with confusion after watching the teaser. I kinda miss some of the elements from the original animated film but this live-action is so different from the other live-action film Disney released these past years. I'm happy but I can't exactly pinpoint the reason why.
