This is the message I got wdwrules:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Live365 network is still down.
We can assure you that this problem is with our bandwidth provider and not our servers so all data is safe. Yes, it's still driving us crazy and YES we are still here trying to find another solution. We hope it will be up and running again very soon.

Unfortunately, because of caching issues, some individuals aren't even receiving this page. So if you know of anyone who is wondering what the &*^% is going on, please let them know that we hope to be back up soon.

Thanks for your patience!!!

Well now that stinks...and on Walt's birthday! I have a Live 365 station, and they just moved to this new server within the past couple of months...probably much cheaper, and now they're paying for it! (Are you listening Mr. Eisner?)
:animwink:

Anyway, I highly recommend Live 365 for Disney fixes, once they're back up. Sign up, download the 365 Player (a quick download that doesn't infect your system like RealPlayer), and do a search for "Disney." You'll find a couple dozen sites dedicated to Disney music, some wide-ranging and some as narrow as "music of Epcot."
It's best if you have a cable/DSL connection (nearly CD quality), but the 56k streams are decent.

I used to run a live radio show thru Live365...and then they started charging....I guess its still OK for listening..but for me thats no fun...I would much rather be heard...

NowInc,

Same here...Listening is...OK...but, I never got the chance really (procrastinator...lol) to do my own show on the net, yet,...one of these days I will. Live365 is charging to Brodcast now? Well that stinks.... Do you know of any other good, but still free, live Net broadcast sites? One of these days I will put together my studio and set it up fo my "real broadcast stuff"...and I want to set it up for the Net as well. I bought the center piece of my studio back in April...a Peavy, Mark VII ..I think..anywho...its a 12-channel stereo mixer with all the toys, and a ba-jillion knobs for the EQ on each channel alone. I got the case with it to, if I ever start Eng./mixing bands gigs again. :p :)

Well..the only FREE one I still know of is Shoutcast...but it needs to 1.) be run thru winamp (ewww..AOL products) and 2.) Needs to be hosted from your own computer...meaning that unless you have a kick butt connection...you are going to be screwed. Unless you can bounce it off of a larger server..but try and find one thats willing to let you do that.

I am currently working with a couple of friends to get a private radio station broadcast going on our private server (without using shoutcast)...if we figure out how to do it..i'll let you know.
