That's pretty much what going to ultraviolet light and paint will do.
How do you know that? It's got cancelled here at MK, it's only in the works at DCA.
Hopefully is right. Really do like the ride, but was also very dissapointed with many things, mainly the terrible lighting in the big Under The Sea room. Seeing exposed acoustical ceiling tiles and ductwork is just plain unacceptable.
So basically this from the concept video? This looks AMAZING! Kudos, Disney! By hiding the ceiling and the exit signs you have a really immersive ride that does not take you out of the story. I loved the ride from the beginning but this truly adds to it.
If they had the budget and space they could create an epic show down where your clam enters into a giant whirlpool (large arc) while Eric drives the mast into a giant Ursula. It would indeed be a great addition to the ride.
For a small fix, have the kiss the girl scene and then go to a small scene where you hear Ursula say "it's time Ursula took matters into her own tentacles" and then you see giant Ursula with the ship heading towards her and Eric says "I lose her once, I won't lose her again!" Then wedding scene and you have a more cohesive story.

overlooked is the reworking of all the ceiling and many of the suspension pieces. Contrary to what many babbleheads want to keep repeating.. this wasn't just 'changing to black light"
He says a lot of stuff and then never responds to any questions.. I already went this route with him when he said there was no new ending a while back. Turns out he was right, but even then it would be nice for him to answer back. How do you know that?
Snow white's scary adventures seemed to work for decades! And continues to do so in other parks!Yeah, but not as terrifying. Could you imagine little kids reactions if that was actually built. They would pee themselves.

no, @ckozel0318 told me that. He's just repeating what he's reading on the site.
ThisYou know, all of the dark rides had scary parts...why now are we so obsessed with not scaring the little ones... Snow white's Scary Adventures originally ended with the witch dropping a giant jewel on your head, Mr Toad ends with getting hit by a train and going to Hell...no one really seemed to mind these back then.. It was part of the fun... Get a little scared... It is all part of the full experience.
Rather than this being about "being obsessed" with not scaring kids, I think part of it has to ride designers moving away from the classic conventions of the laff-in-the-dark style ride these attractions are based on. At one point, a funhouse-style dark ride without scares would have been a unthinkable as a rollercoaster without a chain lift; it was just part of the genre. As time goes on, designers begin to dispense with parts of these formulas. You know, all of the dark rides had scary parts...why now are we so obsessed with not scaring the little ones... Dispense with these formulas to create what exactly? a completely sanitized and saccharine experience? Like every journey, a ride experience can have a little of everything... If their were no scary villains in Disney stories would they be endearing or interesting... Cinderella would just be a princess that married a prince, Snow White and her adorable stepmother would have sung and danced together while waiting for her prince...Rather than this being about "being obsessed" with not scaring kids, I think part of it has to ride designers moving away from the classic conventions of the laff-in-the-dark style ride these attractions are based on.
