yeah if you have the new little mermaid dvd then something is on there about it. i dont really like the idea of all of these sequals but i know im gunna have to see it since little mermaid is my all time fav movie

Disney is OFFICIALLY out of movie ideas and keeps making CRAPPY animated sequils (sp?) that are released straight to DVD. Disney needs to come up with some NEW material.
Now, don't get me wrong, The Little Meramaid is one of the movies that made me fall in LOVE with Disney...but LM2 was lame...and LM3 is probably going to be worse. I haven't enjoyed ANY of Disney's animated sequils (again, sp?), because 1/2 of the time they never get the same voice actors and the animation is far less superior than the original.

You are entitled to your opinion. I agree that LM2 was lame. I also saw that Cinderella 3 is coming out soon too. YUCK! Give us some new movies!

IMHO, these are the ideas that were in progress during Einser's reign and should be the last now that Lasseter in charge of some of the creative things through most of Disney there is a really good chance that we'll see upswings of good stuff coming out of animation (both CGI and 2-D) with stories for the sake of telling the story not making a profit first. They're holding up AMERICAN DOG because they feel it needs more story work. So let's wave to Eisner's remmants as they pass by. :wave:

keep in mind that Disney has begun dismantling the DisneyToon studios, which made this film.... after this, don't expect many (if any) sequels
This is just a little leftover residue as the department clears out.....

i hate sequals! some are good but i agree they need new movies not sequals, tlm 2 was down right aweful :hurl: and yet i own it on dvd go figure:hammer:

there are actualy three, since I had forgeten Fantasia 2000
but they are The three Caballeros which many consider the sequel to Salutos Amigos
Resucers Down Under and Fantasia 2000
Return to neverland was not done by disney feature animation and is an oddity. it is in the catagory of Ducktails the movie and the two goofy movies.

Some are good. Toy Story 2 was awesome!!!!!!!!!! I think it was better than the original Toy Story. I had heard there was a 3 coming out in the near future and you can be sure I will be buying that to add to my DS(3yr)'s collection!!!!!!!!!

Three got canned for now
all work on it goto halted when pixar was aquired. Disney was doing Toystory 3 on their own as a sort of slap in lassiters face When the companies merged lassiter haulted it. It may never come to fruition. But Lassiter is looking at it.
